🎙️🎓A Very Scholarly Podcast🎙️🎓

First event lined up for the day is @cryptoniusrex and his Podcast. His special guests today are @dibblers.dabs and @grocko. Both of them are prolific writers in HIVE, so I think we can guess what the podcast topics today will veer towards 😜

Granted that I hear quite a bit of Cryptonius and Dibblers "babbling" lots of the time in the months that I've been here on PIZZA 😉, I was quite interested in SEEING LISTENING how this would pan out. 🤣.

A healthy number of people actually tuned in just to hear Cryptonius "BLABBER" 😜 - not too bad in my opinion! 😁
@definethedollar flags off the event. And it starts with... Cryptonius (our host) being MUTED! 🤣

After the initial hiccups with sound issues, the podcast was finally in full swing. @cryptoniusrex @dibblers.dabs and @grocko discussions were mainly pertaining towards their thoughts on writing on HIVE, and of course Dibbler's new brainchild - the Scholar and Scribe Community. ✍🏻✍🏻✍🏻

Listeners had the chance to ask questions, especially regarding the tokenomics, of this newly formed community. I won't delve into this topic but if anyone is interested, please head to the Scholar and Scribe Community to get a more in-depth review. 😄

Dibblers also cleared some confusion I had about the current supply of SCHOLAR tokens and SCRIBE tokens in circulation right at this very moment. 😅

🎨📝Canva Q & A with Nane🎨📝

Next up was the Canva Questions and Answers event with @nane-qts. Nane is a very adept designer and she generously offered to share/teach us how to use the design tool Canva.

For some reference, here's some of the work she has done on HIVE with this Compilation of Graphics Resources

PIZZA now has a functioning scholar system in place and all scholars are required to submit a weekly report. Almost every scholar uses a template of Nane's graphical table to present the data in a more easily digestible form, but not everyone is proficient enough in it to utilize said resources to it's full potential.

Today's Q & A session was meant to address any queries that anyone had about Canva.

We learnt how to manipulate FRAMES to easily change the information and photos within.

Another good trick we picked up was how to insert a semi transparent background onto certain images to enhance any titles/words to make it more legible.

And of course, animating a plain blog banner with GIFs to make it catch more attention.

This was a most useful Canva lesson and I'm sure a lot of us benefited greatly from Nane's sharing session. I definitely came out of it with quite a bit of new knowledge that'll help in making future blog banner pictures! 😁🥳👍🏻

🎮🕹️PIZZA Guild Gaming Planetside 2🎮🕹️

Our usual weekend gaming sessions with the Za Battalion in Planetside 2 is the grand finale for the Triple Threat Event lineup today! 😁
