Here's my 17th Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish.

I've joined the Pizza 2 Guild over at the PIZZA DISCORD and was introduced to the world of Guild Brawls in Splinterlands. It has been an interesting experience to say the least. 🎉🥳🎊
Guild Brawls are generally the same as Battles, but with some minor tweaks (of which I'll save for another day). Lets get right down to business as I analyze my brawls. 🧐⚔️🛡️

I've settled into joining Fray 3, the Bronze Chaos Legion Fray, for a few weeks now. As I've mentioned before, this is the level most suited for me and the one I'm most comfortable with given the collection of cards I own/rent.

With that said, lets get down to a review of my battles, or in some cases where my opponent fled 🏃🏻💨 - non battles 😨.

LOST.

I thought I fielded the stronger team overall, but I lost the battle due to 1 card - Riftwing.

In a poison ruleset matchup, the opponent's riftwing basically just outlasted me due to it's increasing health whenever any unit died. Although it was a 3 vs 1 in my favour at the end, the poison finished off all my units before the opponent's Riftwing could be taken down. 💀💀💀🧪🧪🧪

WON.

I thought it was all over for me at one point of the game. The opponent's enraged Grum Flameblade looked like he was about to 1 shot my Alva the Crusher. Thankfully, her shield ability negated just enough damage for my Carnage Titan to finish him off first.

The battle actually ended up with me winning comfortably.

LOST.

The opponent picked the perfect summoner in Thaddius Brood to counter mine. Half my team had magic attacks, and with the little ones ruleset, reducing a further HP along with the damage reduction was the death knell for my team. I lost to the finest of margins.

WON.

Pizza 2 Guild coincidentally met PIZZA 3 Guild in this week's guild brawls! Talk about coincidence. My opponent this round was @h3m4n7. 👋🏻😜

I picked the correct choice of cards for this round. As it was the poison ruleset, I decided to go for the highest HP unit I was able to fit into such restrictive mana settings and that proved to be the winner by outlasting my opponent.

WON.

A Perfect Victory with not a single casualty. My snipe and opporunity units took out the opponent before he even had the chance to react. It was all downhill from that point on as his forces were completely decimated.

An easy win for me. 🥳

📊📈📉My Overall Results📊📈📉

I finished with a win-loss ratio of 3 wins and 2 losses.

It was an average showing from me this week. There wasn't any careless mistake being made and my losses were the result of the opponents choosing the perfect counters to my teams. That happens I guess, and there wasn't much I could have done about it. 😅

PIZZA 2 Guild managed to finish in 3rd place! 🏆🏆🏆

Finally after a few disappointing weeks, we've managed to pull up our socks (so to speak) and achieved a place at the podium again! Like I mentioned in one of my battles, Pizza 3 was also in the same ranked group as Pizza 2! 😄 Pizza 3 did one better than us though and they got the second place while we settled for 3rd!

Regardless of who finished higher though, we'll all part of the same PIZZA family. As long as we both managed to finish on the podium, I'd say this is an amazing achievement!

PIZZA 2 also welcomed 2 new participants in our Guild Frays this week @koodies @vaynard86. So a big HELLO to them too! 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻

They definitely played their part in helping Pizza 2 achieve a better ranking immediately this week by being active and filling out some of our empty frays.
