Here's my 47th Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish. 🍕⚔️🛡️

(This is actually not the LATEST brawl update as a new round of brawls just completed today. However, being so busy the previous week, I am only now beginning to catch up with my "older" posts 😅)

It's the ✨🏅✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion Fray no.12✨🏅✨ for the 30th week in a row for me.

It's a SLIGHT increase over my 60% win rate. Although that's just from that ONE win out of ONE from the previous brawl 🤣. I guess there isn't much interest in this particular Gold Foil fray amongst all the guilds at the moment.

Well it was a glorified 100% winning run for me previously since 1 out of 1 is still a nice perfect 100% 😜. I wonder what this current brawl holds for me then?

I managed to snag another Gladius pack with 2000 MERITS having been accumulated. Nothing special in them however with just the bare minimum of 1 Rare. No Gold Foils too unfortunately 😭.

As usual, I make an extra effort to rent ✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion✨ cards that align with my daily focus during Guild Brawl days.

Hopefully Lady Luck continues to shine on me 🍀🍀🍀 and I don't get too many weird ruleset combinations which will completely screw up my limited Gold Foil selection of cards. (🤣 yeah, that's how terrible I am, to have to rely on luck for my wins)

• Some thoughts I have about my exploits in the Gold Frays. 💭🤔

I feel like I'm winning because my opponent has even less Gold Foil cards available to him than I do. Personally, I find it slightly flattering to me. The teams I field are definitely not the absolute strongest, but more of what is available to me.

It also doesn't account for HOW I win some of the fights though. I've realised that a fair number of them are from opponents who just gave up and did not even face me in battle. ⚔️⚔️⚔️

My choice of picking up the Gold Foil frays is to simply give the Guild a better chance at accumulating more wins, seeing especially that IN THE PAST, many Gold Frays were left empty. Even if I were to lose everything and win just 1 match, it would definitely help in securing a better finishing position overall. 🥇🥈🥉

I've joined the Pizza 2 Guild over at the PIZZA DISCORD and was introduced to the world of Guild Brawls in Splinterlands. It has been an interesting experience to say the least. 🎉🥳🎊
Guild Brawls are generally the same as Battles, but with some minor tweaks (of which I'll save for another day). Lets get right down to business as I analyze my brawls. 🧐⚔️🛡️

LOST.

A terrible loss for me. I was so focused on the ruleset allowing Ranged to attack from the front that I neglected to think of how fragile those ranged units were in the first place. My team got completely decimated by a heavy melee focused Water team from my opponent. The results MIGHT have been slightly different had my Pelacor Arbalest not missed it's attacks too though. I definitely dropped the ball here. 😭

Once again, like in the previous brawl, I had only 1 opponent. So there's no other chance to salvage my score in other matches. 😰

In terms of percentage, this would give me an pathetic 100% losing rate. 😱😅 I guess the Law of Averages has come into play again. 1 win previously and 1 loss now. Oh well. That's just how life is I guess.

I feel it's important that Guilds are able to fill out all the frays - even the significantly "harder" Gold ones. It is very likely that most guilds (at our level) skip the Gold frays completely, or are unable to even field a team if they've got no Gold Foil Summoners. This therefore leads to a better overall score.

PIZZA 2 Guild managed to finish in 1st place! 🏆🏆🏆

AMAZING! SIMPLY AMAZING! 😱🎉 1st place for 2 consecutive weeks? This makes it only the 3rd time since I've joined that we finished in 1st! Even though I lost my battle, everyone pulled through with an amazing result!

The 2nd place guild was just slightly behind us by 2 wins, but we had opened a big gap of 9 wins from the 3rd position. This was a really dominant display. 👍

Great Job from everyone who took part in the Guild Brawls! I'm proud of you all! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
