Hooray! 🎉Last week's results have pushed my winning percentage back up above the 60% mark again. Yes yes, I know it doesn't really matter much as the only thing that matters is the guild position every week 😜, but humans like to keep score don't we? 🤣 And I'm happy every time my score improves. It's my own personal benchmark, so to speak. 😉

I've managed to gather enough for another Gladius pack again, which is probably due to the End of Season chests from a few days ago. Otherwise, I would usually not expect to have enough MERITS so soon after making my previous purchase 😅.

It was a pretty good pack opening too! 2 Rares and 1 Epic 👍🤑. Slightly disappointed at not getting any Gold Foils which would have helped me tremendously in my Gold Foil frays, but I'll take this win any day 🤣.

_{Hopefully Lady Luck continues to shine on me 🍀🍀🍀 and I don't get too many weird ruleset combinations which will completely screw up my limited Gold Foil selection of cards. (🤣 yeah, that's how terrible I am, to have to rely on luck for my wins)}

_{Some thoughts I have about my exploits in the Gold Frays. 💭🤔
I feel like I'm winning because my opponent has even less Gold Foil cards available to him than I do. Personally, I find it slightly flattering to me. The teams I field are definitely not the absolute strongest, but more of what is available to me.
It also doesn't account for HOW I win some of the fights though. I've realised that a fair number of them are from opponents who just gave up and did not even face me in battle. ⚔️⚔️⚔️
My choice of picking up the Gold Foil frays is to simply give the Guild a better chance at accumulating more wins, seeing especially that IN THE PAST, many Gold Frays were left empty. Even if I were to lose everything and win just 1 match, it would definitely help in securing a better finishing position overall. 🥇🥈🥉}

WON.

This was a solid win for me. My Mycelic Slipspawn bore the brunt of the attacks while my Bertrol Gobson managed to score 2 kills to turn him into a dangerously BLOODLUSTED OPPORTUNITY assassin. Even my cannon fodder "Tank" in the first position, the Mycelic Mophoid, managed to deal a surprising amount of damage due to it's THORNS activating twice 🤣.

I don't think I could have asked for a better result than this. 🎉

WON.

Another assured victory for me here. I picked the correct team to shut out my opponent completely with the ruleset WEAK MAGIC in mind. I finished the battle with 0 casualties- an amazing feat in my opinion 😁. My opponent had simply no way past my Cruel Sethropod's ARMOUR which was continually REPAIRED by my Scavo Hireling. 🛠

It was an dominant win for me here. 🎉

LOST.

My Tank was completely destroyed by the hard hitting Forgotten One the opponent used up front. I think it's safe to say that one card won the game for the opponent. I had definitely underestimated the sheer toughness and raw damage of that unit. 😭

As it was, all the cards came falling down after my DPS-ers were left exposed.

2 WINS 1 LOSS. It's a decent result. I was slightly disappointed that I'm once again just missing a perfect streak by 1 game. 🤣 But I'll take these losses and learn from them.

_{I feel it's important that Guilds are able to fill out all the frays - even the significantly "harder" Gold ones. It is very likely that most guilds (at our level) skip the Gold frays completely, or are unable to even field a team if they've got no Gold Foil Summoners. This therefore leads to a better overall score.}

AMAZING! Another 1st place finish! I've actually lost count of how many first place finishes we've had in the past few weeks. Everyone is really pulling their weight here. This was a dominant finish too with the guild being 8 wins ahead of the next highest team. 😱
