Here's my 52nd Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish. 🍕⚔️🛡️

(This brawl is slightly delayed owing to my busy schedule last week. As of the typing of this post, the latest brawl just concluded. But I'll get to that by tomorrow - hopefully. 😜)

It's the ✨🏅✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion Fray no.12✨🏅✨ for the 35th week in a row for me.

The previous brawl results were slightly less than satisfactory resulting in my 60%+ winrate being dragged down a smidgen to it's current 59.8% 😭📉. No matter, at least I learn from my lessons whenever I lose due to my mistakes and will strive to be better than before 😉.

I could have bought a Gladius pack but chose not to do so. I will thus probably have enough for 2 packs by my next brawl.

_{Hopefully Lady Luck continues to shine on me 🍀🍀🍀 and I don't get too many weird ruleset combinations which will completely screw up my limited Gold Foil selection of cards. (🤣 yeah, that's how terrible I am, to have to rely on luck for my wins)}

_{Some thoughts I have about my exploits in the Gold Frays. 💭🤔
I feel like I'm winning because my opponent has even less Gold Foil cards available to him than I do. Personally, I find it slightly flattering to me. The teams I field are definitely not the absolute strongest, but more of what is available to me.
It also doesn't account for HOW I win some of the fights though. I've realised that a fair number of them are from opponents who just gave up and did not even face me in battle. ⚔️⚔️⚔️
My choice of picking up the Gold Foil frays is to simply give the Guild a better chance at accumulating more wins, seeing especially that IN THE PAST, many Gold Frays were left empty. Even if I were to lose everything and win just 1 match, it would definitely help in securing a better finishing position overall. 🥇🥈🥉}

WON.

This was a great start for me. My lineup completely countered the opponent. Kelya's +1 armor and speed ensured First strike for my units which wiped out a third of his forces before he even had time to react. The overwhelming advantage then carried forwards as I obliterated my opponent without a single casualty! 😈🔪

This was a Perfect Victory! 💯

WON.

This was a really close fight. I would say that my choice of ALL 4 units played an equally huge role in winning the battle for me.

• The Disintegrator performed it's role as a tank perfectly whilst reducing all melee damage by -1.
• The Scavo Hireling dutifully repaired my tank's armor thus allowing it to survive far longer than expected.
• My Silent Shavi did an excellent job destroying the opponent's backline.
• But the BEST of them all had to be my Witch of Warwick who (thanks to her other companions) managed to get Bloodlusted enough to solo the rest of the team after my units had fallen.

A well fought victory. 🎉

3 WINS! A PERFECT run of victories! 🎉 Hooray! I haven't had a perfect streak for a really long time already. I'm really happy with this - even if 1 win did result from my opponent not even showing up thus resulting in a walkover for me. 💯

_{I feel it's important that Guilds are able to fill out all the frays - even the significantly "harder" Gold ones. It is very likely that most guilds (at our level) skip the Gold frays completely, or are unable to even field a team if they've got no Gold Foil Summoners. This therefore leads to a better overall score.}

PIZZA 2 Guild managed to finish in 2nd place! 🏆🏆🏆

It's a really good result! Unfortunately, the top team was too dominant this week and it was just a step too far for us. We were similarly ahead of the 3rd placed team, so it was a really good showing overall for the entire guild.
