Here's my 71st Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish. 🍕⚔️🛡️

A Happy Lunar/Chinese New Year to anyone who celebrates this event. 🧧🧧🧧 The past few days has been basically a nonstop eating session for me. 🤣
Fortunately, it seems that I'm not behind on my brawl reports at all. So here it is!

It's the ✨🏅✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion Fray no.12✨🏅✨ for the 54th week in a row for me.

The decent results last week meant that my win percentage is slowly creeping back up again. I still have some way to go before I hit my personal target of a > 60% win rate. It really shows how one huge mistake can set you back for weeks. 😭 That won't be a lesson that I'll forget anytime soon for sure.

I'm still quite some way off from being able to purchase a Gladius pack. So it'll be at last another 1-2 more brawls before I revisit the guild store again. 💸

🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀 Fingers crossed for a Gold Foil (Legendary!!!) I hope 🤣🤑 for my future Gladius packs. (or any packs/rewards chest for that matter 😉)

With all that said, lets FINALLY get down to a review and quick analysis of my battles 🧐⚔️🛡️, or in some cases where my opponent fled 🏃🏻💨 - non battles 😨.

_{Hopefully Lady Luck continues to shine on me 🍀🍀🍀 and I don't get too many weird ruleset combinations which will completely screw up my limited Gold Foil selection of cards. (🤣 yeah, that's how terrible I am, to have to rely on luck for my wins)}

_{Some thoughts I have about my exploits in the Gold Frays. 💭🤔
I feel like I'm winning because my opponent has even less Gold Foil cards available to him than I do. Personally, I find it slightly flattering to me. The teams I field are definitely not the absolute strongest, but more of what is available to me.
It also doesn't account for HOW I win some of the fights though. I've realised that a fair number of them are from opponents who just gave up and did not even face me in battle. ⚔️⚔️⚔️
My choice of picking up the Gold Foil frays is to simply give the Guild a better chance at accumulating more wins, seeing especially that IN THE PAST, many Gold Frays were left empty. Even if I were to lose everything and win just 1 match, it would definitely help in securing a better finishing position overall. 🥇🥈🥉}

Well, it looks like all my opponents have achieved a new level of "feeling from battle" 🤣. Their troops just simply didn't sign up to the war at all! That was really quite anti-climatic 😅.

0 WINS/LOSSES/DRAWS ? A COMPLETE ZERO anything in fact. I was there but I had nothing to do at all! 🎉

Once again, this strange situation occurred whereby the only thing I could do was to look on. The results of the entire war were simply out of my hands.

I still partook in the spoils of victory since I didn't forget to enter any matches. The game takes a situation such as mine as being a full participant in battle. I have to say that it was pretty boring not to be able to contribute to the fight at all though.

_{I feel it's important that Guilds are able to fill out all the frays - even the significantly "harder" Gold ones. It is very likely that most guilds (at our level) skip the Gold frays completely, or are unable to even field a team if they've got no Gold Foil Summoners. This therefore leads to a better overall score.}

PIZZA 2 Guild managed to finish in 1st place! 🏆🏆🏆

This was an amazing result! I however feel guilty that I wasn't able to contribute in any way. This kind of situation is completely out of anyone's control though. The Frays have to be filled and I've had no indication that it would end up empty.

This isn't the first time it has happened though. It is definitely rare not to have any opponent at all among all the guilds who took part, but this usually just means that we're probably significantly stronger than everyone else. The results definitely show that too! 🎉

On a sidenote, we've still got some unfilled frays too so...
