Hello to any of my readers and "Dear (weekly) Diary" 😜

I can't really say this has been an interesting week at all. Not that that's bad, some stability of some sort is good after all. The markets generally remained ranged bound and there hasn't been any major movements either way. Even the news about Mt Gox delaying it's sale of recovered funds and the Fed hawkish stance on the interest rates didn't produce too much of any sharp movements at all in the Crypto markets. 🤣📈📉

On the Splinterlands dev side of the game, it seems that Land 1.5 has finally launched 😱... but only on the Mav Test Server 😜...

But before I go into detail...

A brief introduction before I start though...

Good Day to all Splinterlands players! (and people of HIVE! 😜) I've made it a point to blog about my weekly progress and experiences in Splinterlands/HIVE in my "weekly diary". Splinterlands & HIVE are what I'd consider to be my entry point into the World of Crypto, and I intend to use this as a means to look back on the path I've taken in the years ahead.⏳⏳⏳

This is now the 96th consecutive week writing in my Diary (of sorts) detailing my Splinterlands Journey ever since I started this game. I talk about what has gone on my personal Splinterlands playing experience, my weekly Guild Brawl Reports, and also any Splinterlands ingame news. 🎉🥳🎊

No week goes by in Splinterlands without some news event happening though. And here's my pick of some of the most interesting ones in my opinion. 📰📰📰

There's not much to say about gameplay in Splinterlands this week. The season reset and it's all about grinding my way back up the ranks again. So log in, clear my daily quests, get the rewards, rinse and repeat. Not that I'm complaining too much anyway, since I still do get some quest rewards which will gradually grow my accounts. I just don't expect to see any sudden movements any time soon.

My quest for more Gold Foil Legendary cards from my rewards chests continues on ("Greed is Good!" 😈). It's a 0.008% chance, at base level, to pull a legendary gold foil, in case you were wondering 😉. Here's to more jackpot strikes in the future (i hope) 🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀.

My main regularly picks up the ✨🏅✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion Only Fray no.12✨🏅✨ while my alt takes up the ✨🏅✨Bronze Chaos Legion Fray no. 7✨🏅✨ every week.

My main did pretty well with a perfect 3-0 score 😜 but my alt account registered a rather disappointing result unfortunately. A 5-3 scoreline is a far cry from what I've been achieving in recent weeks. Unfortunately, sometimes you just meet far superior opponents and I'll have to learn from those mistakes and improve.

PIZZA 2 Guild managed to finish in 1st place AGAIN! 🏆🏆🏆

This was an amazing result yet again. And it was for another consecutive week to boot! Everyone churned out some pretty good scores and as always, it is even more impressive when you realise that our guild only has 10 players (and alts) against other fully filled out guilds! 😁

Great Job from everyone who took part in the Guild Brawls! I'm proud of you all! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
