You have to actually be running hardware for the nodes right? So if you don't have a spare server and the bandwidth to spare, you might as well forget it?

Yes the license has to be attached to an operating node. I imagine there will be all sorts of arrangements between license owners and node operators

Good point. I didn't even bother looking because even though I have the resources at work to run one it would probably be an ethical violation.
