End Of Season Check Up On My Splinterlands Assets

I hope everyone had a good season and the rewards were good. In this post, I'm going to go through some of my Splinterlands assets and review some of my goals, and maybe set up some new ones.

In one of my earlier posts, I was talking about how to get to Silver II without renting or using outside cash to achieve that. Well as it happens, it kinda failed because I just couldn't wait... So I bought a gold foil Djinn Chwala and a gold foil Lava Launcher. I was about 3,400 short on collection power so with each one adding 2,500 CP I made it to Silver II easily.

These shiny things cost me a little bit under 20$ with Lava Launcher being $9,21 and Djinn Chwala $9.15 at the moment. Besides adding so much collection power I consider them to be good investments for the future and hey, these are pretty kick-ass in the arena as well.

One obvious reason for leveling up my league position is of course the upcoming reward update. I wanted to boost my chances to get my hands on those new reward cards! So now I'm able to open 3 reward chests daily and 15 at the end of the season.

Providing Liquidity

My DEC-SPS LP-pair value has come down a bit recently as well as the whole crypto market. So nothing to worry about there. It is adding 58,770 airdrop points to my total of 111,689 so holding on to that one. There are still over 2 months of airdrop left.

Staking

The amount of total/staked SPS is up once again and I'm earning about 8 SPS a day. Maybe a mistake but I sold some SPS over a month ago but since then I've been firmly holding.

By the way, did you notice that when you are claiming your SPS rewards there is now also shown the voucher amount next to it?

Land Expansion

Right now I'm also eagerly waiting for the land expansion as many of you as well. I'm holding one plot and a common totem. A couple of days ago I was pretty close to selling my plot but decided otherwise after reading about the land expansion.

I would have got about 300 HIVE from the plot I'd sold at the time when now it has climbed to 381 HIVE. They are pretty scarce with a supply of 100,000. The best thing is we don't yet know what attributes each plot will have so the price could really rise up when those are revealed. Hodling.

The price of a common totem has also risen nicely. Until recently I hadn't realized how scarce totems are with the supply of 25,000. Better to hold to this on too.

Starter Cards

Once the new update kicks in all starter cards used will reduce the reward shares earned. Don't want that to happen so let's check out which ones I should buy.

Monsters missing

• Living Lava
• Khmer Princess
• Dark Astronomer
• Elven Defender
• Mantoid
• Goblin Chariot
• Tower Griffin

This is not so bad, the only ones I'm actively using are Living Lava and Khmer Princess occasionally. The cheapest Living Lava is $10.53 which is actually pretty much! I guess there is a big demand for that card now. The same goes with Khmer Princess - $14! Why didn't I get those back then?1?

Missing Summoners

• Bortus
• Kelya Frendul
• Drake of Arnak

I'm never really playing with these summoners, well sometimes with Kelya when I need those extra shields. Bortus is $5.76, Kelya $4.29 and Drake Of Arnak $7.86 at the time of writing this. Not going to make any buys at this time.

Next Goals

I am probably going to upgrade my Chaos Legion summoners next. I got Obsidian, Thaddius Brood and General Sloan all just above lvl. 2 but I have been neglecting them for a while now. I got lots of monsters they cannot handle anymore.

As for the tokenomics of the game, I'm going to hold all assets for the time being. So much happening around the game now. But if the price of a plot should fall, I'd definitely buy another one!
