To be honest I don't get it why people buy those NFTs instead of Splinterlands cards. What's the big benefit of having one? Well, I don't understand the whole NFT hype anyways but if people want to pay for digital art, then that's their cup of tea...

It is the rarity of it, the collectibles have no use so I agree with you yet there are crazy rich fans that want to have it all if it looks good to them so as Splinterlands grows these will gain in value.
True. I guess people hope that there will be even crazier enthusiasts one day who will buy it from them for even more. Well, maybe I will invest in some Splinterlands NFTs as well haha
Won't hurt to have a few indeed. I even bought many to flip so I keep a few for free or near free.
