Greetings splinterlands/hivers community and happy Friday! I hope you are well and ready to enjoy the weekend. Today I bring you the usual Social media challenge event where we share everything from our strategies to the excitement of finally getting that letter we were looking for so much. Today I want to share with you a very special card that I have begun to appreciate its value: Clockwork aide.

El día de hoy les traigo el acostumbrado evento Social media challenge donde compartimos desde nuestras estrategias hasta la emoción de finalmente conseguir esa carta que tanto estábamos buscando. El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una carta muy especial y a la cual he comenzado a apreciar su valor: Clockwork aide.
In previous posts I have already described the functionality of this series of epic soulbound cards, Noa the just, Thane newsong, Evelyn auvera, Will-o-Wisp are cards without any type of attack but their support abilities make them very useful. Unlike these cards that correspond to their respective classes, Clockwork Aide is a neutral card, meaning that we can use it to complement our team.
En publicaciones anteriores ya he descrito la funcionalidad de esta serie de cartas épicas soulbound, Noa the just, Thane newsong, Evelyn auvera, Will-o-Wisp son cartas sin ningún tipo de ataque pero sus habilidades de apoyo las hacen muy útiles. A diferencia de estas cartas que corresponden a sus respectivas clases, Clockwork aide es una carta neutra es decir que podemos utilizarla para complementar nuestro equipo.
This card has a couple of characteristics that make it very particular, the first is that it has 1 life point and a huge amount of defense, it is reminiscent of Ever-hungry skull only that this card has no attacks of any kind, its cost is 4 of mana which makes it ideal for rulesets like little league. His second characteristic is his swiftness ability that increases the speed of the entire team by +1.
Esta carta tiene un par de características que la hacen muy particular, la primera es que tiene 1 punto de vida y una enorme cantidad de defensa, recuerda a Ever-hungry skull solo que esta carta no tiene ataques de ningún tipo su costo es de 4 de mana lo que lo hace ideal para rulesets como little league. Su segunda característica es su habilidad swiftness que incrementa la velocidad de todo el equipo en +1.
This card therefore has a decoy functionality, that is, serving as an attractor for opportunistic cards and also for cards with the sneak ability. Since these cards are mostly melee attack cards, this card will help us keep the opponent from losing attacks trying knock down this card, giving our team time to attack the enemy lineup and break it.
Esta carta por tanto tiene una funcionalidad de señuelo esto es, servir como atractor de cartas oportunistas y también de cartas con la habilidad sneak en vista que estas cartas son en su mayoría de ataque melé, esta carta nos ayudara a mantener al oponente perdiendo ataques intentando derribar esta carta, dándole tiempo a nuestro equipo de atacar la alineación enemiga y romperla.

🎏⚔️Rules battle/Reglas de batalla
For this battle the mana limit is intermediate: 36 and we can only use 3 classes: fire, earth and dragon. The rulesets are the following:
Para esta batalla el límite de mana es intermedio: 36 y tan solo podemos utilizar 3 clases: fuego, tierra y dragón. Las rulesets son las siguientes:
🚩Ruleset: Broken arrows
In this rule no monster with long range attacks can be chosen, therefore our options are monsters with melee attacks and magic attacks.
En esta regla ningún monstruo con ataque de rango largo puede ser escogido, por tanto nuestras opciones son mostruos con ataques melé y con ataques mágicos.
🎴Cards/Cartas
🧙♂️Summoner/Invocador: Helios matriarch
Our summoner will be of the dragon class: Helios matriarch will give us 2 properties: summon a gladius card on the battlefield and increase the speed of the entire team by +1.
Nuestro invocador será de la clase dragón: Helios matriarch nos va a conferir 2 propiedades: invocar una carta gladius en el campo de batalla y aumentar la velocidad del todo el equipo en +1.
👾 Monsters/Monstruos: Chain golem
Since we have a large amount of mana, we will use Chain golem as a tank. It has 2 abilities that make it ideal for these battles: shield to withstand large attacks like Diemonshark's and void to absorb magical attacks. Without a doubt this is the best option when faced with the possibility of facing Quora or Kralus.
Como estamos con gran cantidad de maná utilizaremos a Chain golem como tanque tiene 2 habilidades que lo hacen ideal para estas batallas: shield para soportar ataque de envergadura como el de Diemonshark y vacío para absorber ataques mágicos. Sin duda esta es la mejor opción ante la posibilidad de enfrentar a Quora o Kralus.
👾 Thane newsong
In the second position we will use a support: Thane newsong, this card will increase the damage of our units by +1 due to its inspire ability and since I currently have it at level 3, it will also increase the life of our team by +1 with the strengthen ability.
En la segunda posición utilizaremos un apoyo: Thane newsong, esta carta incrementará el daño de nuestras unidades en +1 por su habilidad inspire y como actualmente la tengo en nivel 3 también incrementará la vida de nuestro equipo en +1 con la habilidad strengthen.
👾 Katrelba gobson
Our main strategy will be to break the enemy lineup from the rear with great speed and high destructive power, so the one indicated for this task is Katrelba gobson, this gladius card with sneak has the ability double strike and bloodlust so when eliminating enemies it is capable of reach levels of damage and life that are simply insane, to the point of being able to take care of the entire battle herself.
Nuestra estrategia principal será romper la alineación enemiga desde la retaguardia con gran velocidad y alto poder destructivo, así que la indicada para esta tarea es Katrelba gobson, esta carta gladius con sneak tiene la habilidad double strike y bloodlust por lo que al eliminar enemigos es capaz de alcanzar cotas de daño y vida simplemente insanos, hasta el punto de poder encargarse ella misma de toda la batalla.
👾 Dhampir infiltrator
Complementaremos el ataque de Katrelba con esta carta que también es sneak y tiene la habilidad double strike en plata solo la podemos invocar en nivel 4 así que su daño se limita a 2 pero podemos potenciarlo hasta 3 con Thane newsong.
👾 Uraeus
Finally we close what will be the offensive core of our lineup with Uraeus, we place it in this position because it has 1 point of defense in this way the opponent will have to spend more than one attack to eliminate this card.
Por último cerramos lo que será el núcleo ofensivo de nuestra alineación con Uraeus, lo ubicamos en esta posición porque cuenta con 1 punto de defensa de esta manera el oponente tendrá que gastar más de un ataque para eliminar esta carta.
👾 Clockwork aide
Our main card confers +1 speed to the team with the swiftnes ability and its second function is to serve as an attractor and sponge for the attacks of opportunists and cards with sneak, for this reason we place it in the last position, due to its large amount of defense the opponent will have to invest many attacks to take down this card, we will take advantage of this to obliterate the enemy rearguard with our team.
Nuestra carta principal, le confiere +1 de velocidad al equipo con la habilidad swiftnes y su segunda función es la de servir como atractor y esponja de los ataques de oportunistas y cartas con sneak, por esta razón la ubicamos en la última posición, por su gran cantidad de defensa el oponente tendrá que invertir muchos ataques para derribar esta carta, aprovecharemos esto para obliterar la retaguardia enemiga con nuestro equipo.
⚔️Strategy and battle lineup/Estrategia y alineación de batalla
With our team ready, we send the battle and we see that our opponent has sent almost the same lineup as us but here the differences are in two aspects: the first, the level of the cards, we can see that the Thane newsong and the Dhampir infiltrator of our opponent (marked in red) are at level 1 and 2 respectively, while the Clockwork aide is at level 1. We have these cards at the top of the silver league so our Dhambir does more damage and the Thane newsong at level 3 gives us +1 life to the entire team. The second thing is the position Katrelba Gobson should be in the third or fourth position and not so close to the last position because if the opponent has great damage and decides to attack from the rear, your strategy may be compromised.
Con nuestro equipo listo, enviamos la batalla y vemos que nuestro oponente ha enviando casi la misma alineación que nosotros pero aquí hay las diferencias están en dos aspectos: el primero, el nivel de las cartas, podemos ver que el Thane newsong y el Dhampir infiltrator de nuestro oponente (marcados en rojo) estan en nivel 1 y 2 respectivamente, mientras que el Clockwork aide esta en nivel 1. Nosotroa tenemos estas cartas al tope de la liga de plata asi que nuestro Dhambir hace más daño y el Thane newsong en nivel 3 nos da +1 de vida a todo el equipo. Lo segundo es la posición Katrelba gobson debe ir en la tercera o cuarta posición y no tan cerca de la última posición porque si el oponente tiene gran daño y decide atacar por la retaguardia puede verse comprometida tu estrategia.

💥Round 1💥
In this first round you can notice that those small differences in the levels and position of the cards can make a big difference. As our Dhampir is at level 4, it does up to 3 damage boosted by Thane newsong, so when attacking together with Uraeus, it leaves the enemy Clockwork completely exposed so that our Katrelba gobson can not only eliminate him but also the Katrelba gobson that is adjacent, thus eliminating the biggest threat to our alignment.
En este primer round pueden notarse que esas pequeñas diferencias en los niveles y la posición de las cartas puede hacer una gran diferencia. Como nuestro Dhampir esta en nivel 4 hace hasta 3 de daño potenciado por Thane newsong así que al atacar conjuntamente con Uraeus deja expuesto totalmente al Clockwork enemigo para que nuestra Katrelba gobson no solo lo elimine a él sino también a la Katrelba gobson que esta adyacente, eliminamos así la mayor amenaza para nuestra alineación.
💥Round 2💥
The first round ended with the fall of our Clockwork Aide but our opponent lost his and Katrelba Gobson now with the main threat subjugated we have the initiative of the fight. Our Katrelba gobson eliminates the Dhamphir infiltrator and eliminates the Uraeus defense to later be eliminated by our Uraeus, while Dhamphir weakens the opposing Thane newsong.
El primer round termino con la caida de nuestro Clockwork aide pero nuestro oponente perió el suyo y a Katrelba gobson ahora con la amenaza principal subyugada tenemos la iniciativa del combate. Nuestra Katrelba gobson elimina al Dhamphir infiltrator y elimina la defensa del Uraeus para posteriormente ser eliminado por nuestro Uraeus, mientras que Dhamphir debilita al Thane newsong contrario.
💥Round 3💥
Thus we reach the last round where our opponent is left with few options, Katrelba eliminates his Thane newsong and weakens the Terraceous grunt enough for Uraeus to finish the job. A quick victory in which Clockwork acted as a decoy to make the enemy lose attacks while we melted their rearguard.
Llegamos asi al último round donde ya nuestro oponente queda con pocas opciones, Katrelba elimina a su Thane newsong y debilita al Terraceous grunt lo suficiente como para que Uraeus termine el trabajo. Una victoria rápida en la cual Clockwork actuó como señuelo para hacer perder ataques al enemigo mientras nosotros derretíamos su retaguardia.
❗Conclusions/Conclusiones
This is a lineup that I consider to be quite economical and not very complicated to get: Summoner, Thane, Katrelba and Clockwork are account-bound cards of which Thane and Clockwork would be the most difficult to level up at this point I must admit that I have been very lucky.
Clockwork is the decoy par excellence, the large amount of defense that this card has makes it an ideal decoy to make the enemy with opportunistic cards or sneak lose attacks while you break their secondary row. There are few cards with magical attacks and the sneak ability, so it is an option to place it in the last position.
Once again Katrelba is the standout card in this lineup, I have already commented on other battles that I have had with this card but on its own it is simply exceptional and boosted with Thane newsong it becomes a fearsome piece on the battlefield.
Esta es una alineación que considero bastante económica y no muy complicada de conseguir: el invocador, Thane, Katrelba y Clockwork son cartas enlazadas a la cuenta de las cuales Thane y Clockwork serían los más complicados de subir de nivel en este punto debo reconocer que he tenido mucha suerte.
Clockwork es el señuelo por excelencia, la gran cantidad de defensa que tiene esta carta la convierten en un señuelo ideal para hacer que el enemigo con cartas oportunistas o con sneak pierda ataques mientras rompes su fila secundaria. Son pocas las cartas con ataques mágicos y la habilidad sneak asi que es una opción ubicarla en la última posición.
Nuevamente Katrelba es la carta destacada en esta alineación, ya he comentado otras batallas que he tenido con esta carta pero es que por si sola es simplemente excepcional y potenciado con Thane newsong se convierte en una pieza temible en el campo de batalla.

It was almost the same lineup, that doesn't always happen. It is good to know that in a similar situation the one who places lower level cards can win and it is because the probability of missing an attack is also present in the battle. But in your case the cards were very well placed.
