In search of the epic card to complete my Foundadion deck! Balance Brawls and opening Gladius cases [Eng/Esp]
Hello again Splinterlands and Hivers community! We're wrapping up the second week of June, and with it, we've launched a new game interface. I quickly got used to it; the information for all sections of the game appears there, making it easy to access. The most convenient thing I've noticed is the quick access to Brawls. I always end up adding my battles at the last minute because I completely forget to open the Brawls menu and wait for the battle interface to load. Now you can add them directly from the home screen.

Estamos cerrando la segunda semana de Junio y con él estrenamos una nueva interfaz del juego, me acostumbré rápidamente a ella, la información de todos los apartados del juego aparecen en ella pudiendo acceder sin problemas. Lo más conveniente que he visto fue el rápido acceso a las Brawls, y es que siempre termino insertando mis batallas al ultimo momento porque olvido completamente abrir el menú buscar Brawls y esperar a que abra la interfaz de las batallas. Aquí puedes ingresarla directamente en la misma pantalla de inicio.

In this post, I want to share my progress in both Frontier and my Gladiator cards from my most recent Brawl, but I want to start with a section I've grown quite fond of and where I see a lot of potential: Lux's Favor. Just today, I spun the prize wheel 25 times in a row! And although I've only received a few Sparks throughout the week, today I won the chance to spin the wheel two more times and earn 500 Sparks per spin. This finally brought me to over 5,000 Sparks, enough to buy one of the first skins released. However, I'm interested in the exclusive Beach Boom skins, which are limited edition, and the cheapest one costs 15,000 Sparks, so I'm still a long way from being able to get it. In fact, it's very likely that this summer event will end and I still won't have bought the first one. So my only hope is that the ongoing streak increases the amount of Sparks I receive so I can reach those amounts more quickly.
En este post quiero compartirles mi progreso tanto en Frontier como en mis cartas Gladiadoras en lo que fue mi más reciente Brawl, pero quiero empezar por un apartado al que le he tomado bastante cariño y en el que también veo mucho potencial: El Favor de Lux. Justo hoy giré ya la rueda de premios 25 veces seguidas! Y aunque a lo largo de la semana he solo recibido unos pocos Sparks, solo hoy gane la oportunidad de girar la ruleta 2 veces más y sumar en el proceso 500 sparks por turno. Esto me permitió llegar finalmente a más de 5K de Sparks, lo suficiente para comprar uno de los primeros skins puestos a la venta, pero me interesan las skins exclusivas de BEACH BUM , que son limitadas y la más económica cuesta 15K de sparks por lo que aún estoy muy lejos de poder conseguirla, de hecho lo más probable es que este evento de verano pase y todavía no llegue a comprar la primera. Así que mi única esperanza es que la racha continua aumenta la cantidad de Sparks que reciba para llegar más rápidamente a esas cantidades.

But getting back to our progress in Frontiers and with our Foundation cards in general, in my report last week I shared that I finally maxed out Dire Bear, the last common Foundation card I needed to reach level 5. Now I only have one more card to max out to have them all maxed out. It's Asel Alagosdil, the epic water card with no attack. This card has been a real existential void for me; I haven't gotten almost any copies of it in months! I currently have it at level 2 because I got a golden copy last year. Since then, I've only gotten it a few times, and I don't want to buy the other golden copy because I think it's too expensive for a golden epic Foundation card. So I'm waiting for it to drop in packs or for enough regular copies to reach 10 and finally fuse it to level 3.
Pero retomando nuestro progreso en Frontiers y en general con nuestras cartas Foundations, en mi reporte de la semana pasada les había compartido que finalmente llevé al máximo nivel a Dire Bear, la última carta Foundation común que me faltaba por llevar al nivel 5. Ahora solo me queda una última carta por llevar al máximo nivel y tenerlas todas al máximo. Se trata de Asel Alagosdil, la carta épica sin ataque de la clase agua, esta carta ha sido un verdadero vacío existencial para mi tengo casi todos estos meses sin conseguir casi copias de esta carta! Actualmente la tengo en nivel 2 porque la conseguí dorada el año pasado desde entonces han sido muy pocas las veces que me ha salido esta carta y no quiero comprar la otra copia dorada ya que me parece excesivo su precio para una carta épica dorada Foundation. Así que estoy esperando a que me salga dorada en los packs o las suficientes copias regulares para sumar 10 y finalmente fusionarla al nivel 3.

Okay, we got two hard-to-obtain Archons: Water and Fire, as well as two common golden cards, and to our surprise, we got two Asel Alagosdil cards in one day. Even though it wasn't golden, it's great that we at least got two of them in a single run! With those two regular copies, we now have a total of seven. We're still three short of completing the set, so I'll wait for a golden Archon, Epic, or valuable Legendary card that I can sell to buy the remaining copies, or for them to drop in packs during these last few days of the season.
Ok, obtuvimos 2 arcontes difíciles de conseguir: agua y fuego, también 2 cartas doradas comunes y para nuestra sorpresa en 1 día sacamos 2 Asel Alagosdil y aunque no salió dorada se agradece que al menos hayamos conseguido 2 de ellas en una sola ronda! Con esas 2 copias regulares sumamos un total de 7, faltarían 3 para completarla, así que esperaré a que me salga algún arconte dorado, épica o carta legendaria valiosa que pueda vender para comprar las copias que me faltan o que salgan en los packs en estos últimos días de la temporada que quedan.
Brawls
We'll close this report with our usual summary of the guild battles. I'm quite excited because opening packs every week, even if they're just a few, is already paying off. Just last week we managed to get our first common gladiator to level 8, and many others are only one or two copies away from reaching that same level. In this Brawl, even though we finished third, we earned enough to buy eight Gladius cases and try our luck.
Cerramos este reporte con nuestro acostumbrado balance de las batallas de gremios, estoy bastante entusiasmado ya que abrir packs cada semana, aunque sean pocos pero de forma constante ya esta brindando sus frutos, solo la semana pasada logramos llevar nuestro primer gladiador común a nivel 8 y muchas otras están a 1 o 2 copias de llegar a ese mismo nivel. En esta Brawl aunque terminamos de terceros, obtuvimos los méritos suficientes como para comprar 8 Gladius cases y probar suerte.

In this Brawl, I used the Conclave Arcana Archon Sheng Xiao for the first time. I'm so used to the Untamed, Chaos Legion, and Riftwatchers Archons that I'm a bit apprehensive about using these. But I saw the opportunity in this battle against Yodin Zaku, and the results were excellent. Sorry, Waka, but I don't think he's even close to Sheng Xiao, who is much more effective with poison.
En esta Brawls usé por primera vez el arconte de Conclave Arcana Sheng Xiao, estoy tan acostumbrado a los arcontes de Untamed, Chaos Legion/Riftwatchers que me da cierta aprensión usar estos arcontes. Pero vi la oportunidad en esta batalla contra Yodin Zaku y los resultados fueron excelentes. Lo siento por Waka, pero creo que no le llega ni a los talones a Sheng Xiao que es mucho más efectivo con el veneno.

Opening the four Gladius cases gave us our first rare golden melee death card: Kotriphus Bayne! But that wasn't the only surprise; we also managed to get another Death-class gladiator to level 8: Whistling Damon. This isn't a card I use much, but this is a sign that we're finally getting our gladiator cards to the top of the Gold League.

My cards that are already in Wild are at that level, and they're enough to reach the Diamond League and sometimes even Champion. So having these cards at this level is a huge help, whether I'm playing Brawls or using Archons that let you summon Gladiator units in ranked battles.

Alright friends, this was my weekly progress in Frontier and Brawls. We've made significant progress strengthening our gladiator cards, and although we didn't manage to get Asel Alagosdil to level 3, we did get two regular copies, which brings us closer to our goal. Bien amigos, este fue mi progreso semanal en Frontier y Brawls, hemos avanzado significativamente fortaleciendo nuestras cartas gladiadoras y aunque no logramos llevar a Asel Alagosdil a nivel 3, si que conseguimos 2 copias regulares que nos acercan más a nuestra meta.
