Progresos 1era semana de Abril en Frontier: ¡Llevando al máximo nivel la clase Fuego! [Esp/Eng]
Hola amigos de Hive NFTGame Latino y Splinterlands! Frontier es al día de hoy la puerta de entrada al Splinterverso y todas sus posibilidades, viendo en retrospectiva el devenir del mercado NFT, el mercado cripto y en última instancia la blockchain de Hive como la columna vertebral de este proyecto que nos permite crear un contenido del que somos verdaderamente dueños y que podemos compartir en comunidad, es imposible negar el enorme potencial de este proyecto, incluso ahora en estos momentos de gran convulsión geopolítica, Splinterlands continúa siendo una excelente vía para iniciarse en el mundo Gamefi y play2earn. Esta es la razón por la que con todo el tiempo que tengo dentro del juego no desperdicio la oportunidad que ofrece este modo de juego en base a cartas Foundations para generar ingresos y crecer dentro del formato moderno.

Si estas jugando Frontier y ya estas usando las cartas Foundations para complementar tu mazo mientras juegas en moderno te habrás dado cuenta de la importancia de completar estas cartas al máximo nivel. Por sus precios tan bajos puedes hacerte con ellas con un presupuesto bastante bajo pero he querido farmear los cofres de recompensa porque se siente bastante bien progresar mientras vas entendiendo las mecánicas, ventajas y habilidades de cada carta conforme vas subiéndolas de nivel, es una forma de tener una comprensión profunda del potencial de cada carta y cuando es conveniente usarlas. En este contexto estos primeros días de abril ya he farmeado mis primeros 6 cofres, tratando de conseguir los arcontes de fuego necesarios para tener todas las cartas de esta clase al máximo.
If you're playing Frontier and already using Foundations cards to complement your deck while playing Modern, you'll have realized the importance of maxing them out. Because of their low prices, you can acquire them on a fairly small budget, but I've wanted to farm the reward chests because it feels great to progress while understanding the mechanics, advantages, and abilities of each card as you level them up. It's a way to gain a deep understanding of each card's potential and when it's appropriate to use them. In this context, in these first few days of April, I've already farmed my first six chests, trying to get the Fire Archons necessary to max out all the cards of this class.

En esta ocasión si que tuvimos suerte, conseguimos el arconte que tanto estábamos buscando, pero su variante Gold Foil, sin duda que se ve hermosa. Pero haremos un sacrificio necesario, necesito 10 copias regulares de esta carta para llevar mi versión Foil Regular de este arconte al máximo y tengo que hacerlo porque realmente me hace falta tenerlo lvl 4 para entrar en la tabla de premios del formato Frontier y ser más eficaz en mis alineaciones con este arconte en moderno.
This time we were lucky; we got the Archon we were so eager to find, but its Gold Foil variant certainly looks beautiful. But we will make a necessary sacrifice; I need 10 regular copies of this card to max out my Foil Regular version of this Archon, and I have to do it because I really need to have it at level 4 to enter the Frontier format prize table and be more effective in my lineups with this Archon in Modern.
Frankarsgard, Chaos Furybringer, & Sturdy Axe Warden
Ahora que finalmente pudimos llevar a Barthlamas al máximo nivel, Frankarsgard & Chaos Furybringer que son 2 cartas melé de vanguardia que son la máxima expresión de lo que es ser unidades de primera línea. Frankarsgard un sólido tanque con buena cantidad de vida y defensa que aprende la habilidad enrage a nivel 5 por lo que puede duplicar su daño y velocidad al recibir daño. Luego tenemos a Chaos Furybringer una carta con reach que puede ejecutar ataques melé desde la segunda posición, su velocidad y alto daño lo vuelven el compañero ideal de cualquier tanque.
Now that we've finally maxed out Barthlamas, Frankarsgard and Chaos Furybringer are two melee vanguard cards that are the ultimate expression of frontline units. Frankarsgard is a solid tank with a good amount of health and defense that learns the Enrage ability at level 5, allowing it to double its damage and speed when taking damage. Then we have Chaos Furybringer, a card with reach that can execute melee attacks from the second position. Its speed and high damage make it the ideal partner for any tank.
La clase fuego Foundations no tiene tantas unidades rango tan poderosas como la clase tierra, pero Sturdy Axe Warden es la excepción a la regla. Esta carta desde el nivel 4 hace 3 de daño rango y en su máximo nivel llega a tener 5 de vida máxima y aunque su velocidad es relativamente rápida, lo compensa con el arconte que le confiere +1 de velocidad a todo el equipo.
The Foundations fire class doesn't have as many ranged units as powerful as the earth class, but Sturdy Axe Warden is the exception to the rule. This card from level 4 deals 3 ranged damage and at its maximum level reaches 5 maximum health and although its speed is relatively fast, it compensates for this with the archon that gives +1 speed to the whole team.
Scales of Justice & Ember Roast Sow
Luego tenemos la carta Scales of Justice, es una carta sin ataque y que además no podemos aplicarle weapons training, todo parece ser desventajas con esta carta, hasta que ves sus estadísticas, defensa, vida, alta velocidad y la habilidad dodge que le aumenta su taza de evasión en un 30% ideal para usarlo de tanque en batallas de bajo mana, solo asegúrate de no usarlo cuando hay unidades mágicas en el campo de batalla. Luego esta Ember Roast Sow la carta favorita de @mirlenyjerez por que le recuerda al cazador de demonios Inosuke! Es una carta con la habilidad oportunista, su daño máximo es 1 pero si puedes bufear el daño con alguna carta que tenga la habilidad inspire podrás sacarle un mayor provecho en batallas de bajo mana.
Next, we have the Scales of Justice card. It's a card with no attack and no Weapons Training. Everything seems to point to disadvantages with this card until you see its stats: defense, HP, high speed, and the Dodge ability, which increases its evasion rate by 30%. It's ideal for tanking in low-mana battles. Just be sure not to use it when there are magic units on the battlefield. Then there's Ember Roast Sow, @mirlenyjerez's favorite card because it reminds her of the Demon Slayer Inosuke! It's a card with the Opportunist ability. Its maximum damage is 1, but if you can buff the damage with a card that has the Inspire ability, you can get much more out of it in low-mana battles.
With this, we've maxed out all the fire-class units, epic cards, and the only legendary card I own. I maxed them out quite some time ago. That's why I needed to get this Archon to level 4; if I wanted to use it in Modern/Silver and climb the Frontier leaderboard, this card is essential. But now let's see how effective this Foundations Splinter is now that it's maxed out.
Con esto hemos completado todas las unidades de la clase fuego al máximo nivel, las cartas épicas y la única legendaria que tengo, ya hacía bastante tiempo que las había llevado a nivel máximo. Por eso necesitaba llevar este arconte a nivel 4 porque si lo quería usar en moderno/plata y entrar en la tabla de ranking de Frontier, esta carta es imprescindible. Pero ahora veamos que tan eficaz es este splinter foundations ahora que lo tenemos en su máxima capacidad.
Frontier
Por supuesto la primera batalla donde pusimos a prueba nuestras cartas de fuego fue contra un oponente que ya presumía que escogería la clase tierra, una clase con las unidades rango con más daño del meta Frontier, pero con el inconveniente de ser lentas. Como esta batalla nos da +2 de defensa decidí usar un señuelo para desviar los ataques, lo segundo es que con tan alta velocidad tuvimos la suerte de evadir varios ataques rango y acertar todos los nuestros, y aunque perdimos el señuelo y a nuestro tanque, ya el oponente había sido completamente obliterado.
Of course, the first battle where we tested our fire cards was against an opponent who was already assuming he'd choose the earth class, a class with the highest-damage ranged units in the Frontier meta, but with the drawback of being slow. Since this battle gives us +2 defense, I decided to use a decoy to deflect attacks. Secondly, with such high speed, we were lucky enough to evade several ranged attacks and land all of our own. And although we lost the decoy and our tank, the opponent had already been completely obliterated.

Modern
Luego puse aprueba este arconte en moderno en una batalla que favorecía el uso de unidades rango/melé. Cuando tenía que enfrentar batallas de este tipo tenía que conformarme con el arconte Fithe Bladestone que si bien nos da defensa y resistencia a la magia si comparte linaje, la desventaja es que en muchos casos no teníamos la iniciativa del combate. Entonces sacrificamos la defensa por mayor velocidad de ataque, bufeando el daño melé de nuestras unidades en +1 y usando unidades oportunistas en la fila secundaria. Fue un gran acierto usar como tanque a Drybone Megalodon que con su habilidad retaliate se las arregló para eliminar a un par de objetivos que nos dio finalmente la victoria.
Then I put this Archon to the test in Modern in a battle that favored the use of ranged/melee units. When I had to face battles of this type, I had to settle for the Fithe Bladestone Archon, which, while it gives us defense and magic resistance, shares the same lineage. The disadvantage is that in many cases we didn't have the initiative. So we sacrificed defense for greater attack speed, buffing the melee damage of our units by +1 and using opportunistic units in the secondary rank. It was a great success to use Drybone Megalodon as a tank, whose Retaliate ability managed to eliminate a couple of targets, ultimately giving us the victory.

Cartas pendientes por upgradear/Cards pending upgrade
Ya los arcontes Foundations, así como las cartas comunes y raras ya se encuentran al máximo nivel y como pueden ver son cartas bastante competentes tanto en Frontier como eventualmente en el ranking Moderno. Sin embargo todavía hay cartas de esta edición que es importante llevar al máximo nivel, principalmente de rareza épica. Entre las más importantes están Saltwater Mage, Asel Alagosdil y Lunaki HowlerLunaki Howler Epic neutral que ya son piezas importantes en mis alineaciones de moderno, al igual que Glimmermancer y Lady Amara. Por ahora no tengo prisa por tenerla al máximo, que son lo suficientemente competentes para lograr victorias en moderno/plata. Así que por lo pronto seguiré farmeando cofres y cruzando los dedos para conseguir estas cartas o también tener la suerte de conseguir una legendaria dorada que podamos vender y comprar las copias necesarias de estas cartas regulares.
The Foundations Archons, as well as the common and rare cards, are already at the maximum level, and as you can see, they are quite competent cards both in Frontier and eventually in the Modern rankings. However, there are still cards from this set that are important to upgrade to the maximum level, mainly epic rarity cards. Among the most important are Saltwater Mage, Asel Alagosdil, and Lunaki Howler (an Epic neutral card), which are already key pieces in my Modern lineups, as are Glimmermancer and Lady Amara. For now, I'm not in a rush to max them out; they're competent enough to secure wins in Modern/Silver. So, for the time being, I'll keep farming chests and crossing my fingers to get these cards, or perhaps get lucky enough to get a Golden Legendary that we can sell to buy the necessary copies of these regular cards.
