Greetings again Splinterlands and Hiver community! It is always a pleasure to attend these weekly challenges that they propose to us to test our skills, this time the ruleset that we are going to explore is Equal Opportunity.

⚔️ Equal Opportunity
This rule provides the Opportunity ability to all units whether magic, range or melee, this means that these units will attack those targets with the lowest amount of health regardless of their position.
Esta regla les proporciona la habilidad Opportunity a todas la unidades sean mágica, rango o melé, esto significa que estas unidades atacarán aquellos objetivos con menor cantidad de vida sin importar en que posición se encuentre.
My favorite abilities to take advantage of this ruleset are double strike to eliminate as many enemy units as possible and bloodlust because it increases the monster's statistics as it eliminates enemies.
Mis habilidades favoritas para aprovechar esta ruleset son double strike para eliminar la mayor cantidad de unidades enemigas y bloodlust porque incrementa las estadísticas del monstruo a medida que va eliminando enemigos.
Double strike & Bloodlust
Units with combined attacks are also an excellent option to take advantage of this ruleset, the best example is Vigilator, a dragon class card that combines melee and ranged attacks with the double strike ability so it would execute a sequence of 4 attacks, crazy!

With a mana limit of 34 and the possibility of choosing any of the 6 splinters, this battle curiously contains last week's ruleset: Equalizer and the one we are going to explore today Equal Opportunity. Of all the possibilities we have, our choice will be with the fire class since it has low mana units that can do a lot of damage, but I will explain this in my team lineup.
Con un límite de mana de 34 y la posibilidad de escoger cualquiera de los 6 splinter, esta batalla curiosamente contiene la ruleset de la semana pasada: Equalizer y de la que vamos ha explorar hoy Equal Opportunity. De todas las posibilidades que tenemos, nuestra elección será con la clase fuego ya que cuenta con unidades de bajo mana que pueden hacer una gran cantidad de daño, pero explicare esto en la alineación de mi equipo.

🧙♂️Summoner/Invocador: Yodin Zaku
Being one of the Equalizer ruleset, it is necessary to do the greatest amount of damage possible not only to the target but also to the adjacent cards to weaken them quickly, for that we will use Yodin and his Blast ability, in addition this summoner increases the damage of the units by 1 range so our objective will be to propose an alignment of units with range attacks.
Al ser una de las ruleset Equalizer es necesario hacer la mayor cantidad de daño posible no solo al objetivo sino a las cartas adyacentes para debilitarlos rápidamente, para eso utilizaremos a Yodín y su habilidad Blast, además este invocador incrementa en 1 el daño de las unidades rango por lo que nuestro objetivo será plantear una alineación de unidades con ataques rango.
👾 Monsters/Monstruos: Lord Arianthus
Lord Arianthus is a 5 mana tank that has resistances to all attacks and can also return magic and melee damage, we will place him in the first position to protect our lineup.
Shield, Void, Magic Reflect & Thorns

👾 Clockwork Aide

Supply Runner is a recurring card for most of my battles, it has very good damage and following the same strategy as with Clockwork aide, this card will increase the speed of our team.
Supply Runner es una carta recurrente para la mayoría de mis batallas, tiene un muy buen daño y siguiendo la misma estrategia que con Clockwork aide, esta carta incrementará la velocidad de nuestro equipo.
👾 Scavo Firebolt
Scavo firebolt is one of the several cards with low mana but good damage that the fire class has, it does not have an ability that makes a big difference but its damage is the main characteristic to have it in this lineup.
Scavo firebolt es una de las varias cartas con bajo mana pero buen daño que tiene la clase fuego, no tiene una habilidad que haga la gran diferencia pero su daño es la principal característica para tenerla en esta alineación.

Firecaller is a martyr card with excellent statistics such as damage and speed, we will place it in the penultimate position in the event that enemy attacks are directed to the rear.

👾 Pyrewatch Devil
Finally, Pyrewatch Devil is a 3 mana card but has the ability to steal life and apply dispell to eliminate any enemy buff. Generally, battles that combine equalizer with equal opportunity always start at the forefront so we will have this card in the last position stealing as much life as possible.
Por último Pyrewatch devil es una carta de 3 de mana pero que tiene la habilidad de robar vida y aplicar dispell para eliminar cualquier buff del enemigo, por lo general batallas que combinan equalizer con equal oportunity siempre comienzan en la vanguardia así que tendremos esta carta en la última posición robando la mayor cantidad de vida posible.
⚔️Strategy and battle lineup/Estrategia y alineación de batalla
Once our team is formed we send the battle and we can evaluate the enemy strategy, when the equalizer and equal oppotunity ruleset are combined, all attacks are directed at the first unit to receive damage. Taking this into account, the enemy lineup will go to the rear because the sneak card is the fastest, our victory will depend on how fast we are and the damage we do. Una vez formado nuestro equipo enviamos la batalla y podemos evaluar la estrategia enemiga, cuando las ruleset equalizer y equal oppotunity se combinan, todos los ataques se dirigen a la primera unidad en recibir daño. Teniendo esto en cuenta la alineación enemiga se dirigirá a la retaguardia esto porque la carta con sneak es la más rápida, nuestra victoria dependerá de cuan rápido seamos y el daño que hagamos. ⚔️Battle/Batalla⚔️
💥Round 1 & 2💥
Desde el primer round se confirma lo que predecía de la estrategia enemiga, sus ataques se dirigieron a la retaguardia eliminando a nuestro Pyrewatch devil y aunque en el segundo round logramos eliminar su tanque ya nuestro oponente elimino al Firecaller y es que lo noté mucho después, el oponente tiene su invocador y cartas nivel diamante!
From the first round what I predicted about the enemy strategy was confirmed, their attacks were directed to the rear, eliminating our Pyrewatch devil and although in the second round we managed to eliminate his tank and our opponent eliminated the Firecaller and I noticed it much later, the opponent has his summoner and diamond level cards!
💥Round 3 & 4💥
Despite the disparity in levels, in the 3rd round we managed to eliminate the Will-o-Wisp, which changes the course of the battle because now we force our opponent to direct his attacks at our tank, which withstands the damage received very well and that's it. In the 4th round we eliminated the Skeleton assassin, the unit that could poison us.
A pesar de la disparidad de niveles, en el 3er round logramos eliminar al Will-o-Wisp lo que cambia el devenir de la batalla porque ahora obligamos a nuestro oponente que dirija sus ataques a nuestro tanque que soporta muy bien el daño recibido y ya en el 4to round eliminamos al Skeleton assassin la unidad que podía envenenarnos.
💥Rounds 5 - 8💥
Already in the 5th round the initiative is ours, we eliminated the Life sapper and although we lost our tank it already fulfilled its main function satisfactorily because now Clockwork aide takes the lead with almost all of its defense intact and a large amount of life. When we eliminated the Ravehood warden in the 6th round, our enemy completely lost the battle with only one rank unit in the first position and it was finally in the 8th round that we ended up obtaining the victory.
Ya en el 5to round la iniciativa es nuestra, eliminamos al Life sapper y aunque perdimos a nuestro tanque ya su principal función la cumplió satisfactoriamente porque ahora se pone al frente Clockwork aide con casi toda su defensa intacta y una gran cantidad de vida. Cuando en el 6to round eliminamos al Ravehood warden ya nuestro enemigo perdió completamente la batalla con solo una unidad rango en la primera posición y es finalmente en el 8vo round que terminamos obteniendo la victoria.
🕯️ Conclusions/Conclusiones
- Equal opportunity is a rule that in order to overcome it you must have a clear knowledge of the cards you are going to use, this implies parameters such as life and speed, damage of course is the main one but knowing how to place the cards can make the difference between defeat and victory.
- Equal opportunity es una regla que para poder superarla debes tener un claro conocimiento de las cartas que vas a usar, esto implica parámetro como vida y velocidad, el daño por supuesto es la principal pero saber ubicar las cartas puede hacer la diferencia entre derrota y victoria.
