Sixth Golden Path Report: Opening my seventh Aurelius chest, acquiring new Verico cards, and a summary of plot production [Eng/Esp]
Hello, inhabitants of Praetoria! Another week of work in the vast virtual lands of Praetoria, another opportunity to try our luck with the Aurelius Chests and also to fish for assets and workers for our plots. Splinterlands has become a game that never gets boring; there's always something to do beyond just climbing the ranked ladder. In fact, it's been a bit of a struggle to organize myself, as I've had to divide my in-game income between cards to improve my ranked play and investing in workers to boost my plot production. I'm trying to maintain a balance between the two, although for now I'm prioritizing obtaining the Conclave Arcana Archons and the first Verico cards. But before we get into those details, let's see how our weekly Aurelius Chest opening went.
Let's start with the price of our Electrofox card, which is currently around $18. If we were to sell it for even less than that price, we would easily recoup our initial investment. But my interest in this card goes beyond farming EVP points. The ability to act as a power source on plots is a huge advantage, so I'm waiting for a good offer to appear so I can get at least two copies: one to activate a second plot and another to use in ranked mode.

Una semana más de faena en las amplias tierras virtuales de Praetoria, una oportunidad más para probar nuestra suerte con los cofres Aurelius y también para pescar activos y trabajadores para nuestras parcelas. Splinterlands se ha convertido en un juego con el cual nunca te aburres, siempre tienes cosas que hacer más allá de abrirte paso en el ranked del juego. De hecho me ha costado organizarme ya que he tenido que dividir mis ingresos hacia el juego entre las cartas para mejorar mi juego en ranked y en invertir en trabajadores para mejorar la producción de mis parcelas. Intento mantener un equilibrio entre ambos, aunque por ahora estoy priorizando más la obtención de los arcontes Conclave Arcana y las primeras cartas Verico, pero antes de entrar en esos detalles veamos como nos fue en nuestra apertura semanal de cofres Aurelius.
Comencemos con el precio de nuestra carta Electrofox, que se encuentra actualmente cercano a los 18$, si la pusiéramos a la venta incluso por debajo de ese precio estaríamos recuperando ampliamente la inversión inicial que hicimos en esta carta. Pero mi interés en esta carta va más alla de farmear puntos EVP, la habilidad de actuar como una fuente de poder en las parcelas es una gran ventaja, por lo que estoy esperando que aparezca una buena oferta para hacerme al menos con 2 copias, una para activar una segunda parcela y otra para usarla en el modo ranked.
I recently bought my second Legendary Archon at the top of the Silver League, which has left me short on funds to invest in other Electrofox and Verico cards. I had put it off for too long, and unfortunately, I had to buy it at a high price. But time is running out, and it's time to start buying the Legendary Archons from Arcana Conclave before the last quarter of the year begins. The good news is that you only need one of these legendary archons to advance in the Modern ranked ladder. The season just ended today, and with only Sheng Xiao, I managed to reach Diamond III. I hope I can go even further with this new archon.
Recientemente me compre mi segundo arconte legendario al tope de la liga de plata eso me ha dejado corto de presupuesto para invertir en otras cartas Electrofox y cartas Verico, ya le había dado demasiadas largas y lamentablemente tuve que comprarlo a un precio alto, pero ya el tiempo me esta alcanzando y ya es hora de comenzar a comprar los arcontes legendarios de Conclave Arcana antes de que comience el último trimestre del año. Lo bueno es que basta con tener al menos uno de estos arcontes legendarios para avanzar en el ranked de moderno, justo hoy terminó la temporada y con solo Sheng Xiao logre llegar a la liga de Diamante III espero poder llegar más lejos con este arconte nuevo.
Let's see how we did with our 7th Aurelius Chest. So far, we've opened 400 of these chests, which offer the best odds of getting good rewards. We haven't gotten a good Splinterlands asset yet, just a perfect ETN Jackpot that we transferred to our wallet without any problems.
Veamos entonces como nos fue con nuestro 7mo cofre Aurelius, hasta ahora ya van 400 cofres de esta tipo que son los que ofrecen mejores probabilidades de buenas recompensas. Hasta ahora no hemos conseguir un buen activo de Splinterlands, solo un impecable Jackpot de ETN que logramos transferir a nuestra billetera sin problemas.
Well, basically, the drop was the same as last week: 70 ETN, a few glints, 3 energy, and a Frontier Chest. The glints were a disappointing amount, to be honest. I don't know who planned these kinds of rewards; they're so mediocre that they kill any enthusiasm for continuing to participate in this event. At least the extra energy will be a big help to start the season.
Bueno, básicamente se repitió el mismo drop de la semana pasada, 70 ETN, unos pocos glints, 3 de energía y un cofre Frontier. Los glints fueron una cantidad decepcionante la verdad, honestamente no se quien planificó este tipo de recompensas, son tan mediocres que le quitan el entusiasmo al cualquiera de seguir participando de este evento. If these are the rewards awaiting us in the highest rarity chests, I don't even want to imagine how many glints we'll get in the lower rarity chests once the Aurelius chests run out. For now, the most valuable thing is the ETN tokens, of which I've usually obtained significant amounts. We'll see if we have better luck with these chests next week.
Si estas son las recompensas que nos aguardas en los cofres de mayor rareza no me quiero imaginar cuantos glints nos darán en los cofres de menor gama cuantos los Aurelius se terminen. Por ahora lo más valioso son los tokens de ETN que la mayoría de las veces he obtenido cantidades importantes, ya veremos si la semana que viene tendremos mejor suerte con estos cofres.
🎑 Verico Cards and Plot Production/Tarjetas Verico y Producción de Parcelas
Now let's move on to Lands. I was planning to buy two exclusive Verico workers at level 2, but the cost of the legendary dragon archon only allowed me to buy enough copies of Ollistock Bull to get it to level 2. I wanted to buy Afrijan Reedhauler level 2, but I ran out, and besides, it's in demand because it's currently at $0.17. In short, we've already bought four of these cards we wanted at level 2. We'll lock them next weekend since I need to focus on buying more Decs to activate these workers on their respective plots.
Pasemos ahora a Lands, tenia pensado comprar 2 trabajadores exclusivos Verico a nivel 2 pero los costes del arconte dragón legendario solo me permitieron comprar las copias suficientes de Ollistock Bull para llevarlo a nivel 2, quería comprar Afrijan Reedhauler lvl 2 pero me quedé corto y además que tiene demanda porque ahora esta en 0,17$. En resumen 4 de estas cartas que queríamos ya las compramos lvl 2, el próximo fin de semana los bloquearemos ya que en lo inmediato debo enfocarme en comprar más Decs para activar estos trabajadores en sus respectivas parcelas.
Another market where I spend hours checking prices is land parcels; the prices we're seeing are incredible! 2026 is the year I've seen parcels at such low prices, starting at $7, and although most of these parcels are used for timber production, perhaps they could appreciate in value later on.
My interest remains focused on stone-producing parcels. I already have three: one rare, one common, and the best one I have so far, an epic, all in the Great Lowlands. For now, I want to continue acquiring parcels with quarries in that region. They've become quite expensive and are starting at $14. It's very likely that these parcels will appreciate even more.
Mi interés sigue centrada en parcelas que generen piedra, ya tengo 3 1 rara, 1 común y la mejor que tengo hasta ahora 1 épica, todas ellas en Great Lowlands y por ahora quiero seguir adquiriendo parcelas con canteras en esa región. Se han encarecido bastante y se encuentran a partir de los 14$, es muy probable que estas parcelas se revaloricen aún más.
We collect the production from the grain farms initially. Now that I've bought 3 Verico cards, I can lock 2 of them in the Bredaine farm and leave a slot for a rare black foil worker that I would eventually rent. I just need to buy Dec to activate these cards. I hope to get at least 15K in Decs to leave the plot in Bredaine with its 5 workers.

Once the grain is harvested, we'll collect the stone from our three quarries. We need to upgrade the common quarry in Oxborough, where we have the Electrofox card working. We've already bought a level 2 Verico card; we just need to buy one more and have a rare Blackblade worker available for rent. As you can see, just for these five plots, we need to invest a lot of money and scour the market for both rentals and sales. In other words, it requires investment, time, and dedication, so it's important to plan carefully what kind of plot you're going to develop.
Una vez cosechado el grano recogemos la producción de piedra en nuestras 3 canteras, la que tenemos que mejorar en la cantera común en Oxborough que es donde tenemos trabajando la carta de Electrofox, ya tenemos comprada una carta Verico lvl 2 nos falta comprar una más y dejar trabajando una carta de lámina negra rara en alquiler. Como pueden ver tan solo para estas 5 parcelas hay que invertir, peinar el mercado tanto de alquiler como de venta, es decir exige inversión, tiempo y dedicación, por eso es importante planificar bien que clase de parcela vas a desarrollar.
In the end, we have a total of 769K stone. I'd like to increase the production rate by taking advantage of the low Dec value, which allows us to buy Dec to block and also rent cards with high PP. There are many options available, from golden Beta cards and Untamed cards to black foil cards, all of which are now accessible under these conditions. I hope to increase the production rate by the end of August.
Al final tenemos un acumulado de 769K en piedra, la tasa de producción me gustaría incrementarla aprovechando el bajo valor del Dec que permite comprar Dec para bloquear y también alquilar cartas con altos PP, aquí hay muchas opciones desde cartas doradas Beta, Untamed o una lámina negra son opciones ahora accesible bajo estas condiciones. Espero poder aumentar la tasa de producción de aquí a finales de Agosto.
