Status of rewards in Tournaments, brawls summary & opening of Gladius cases [Eng/Esp]
Greetings, community! I hope you're enjoying the penultimate Sunday of August, which feels like it's flown by! But since we're already entering the last quarter of the year, I wanted to document my beginnings in Splinterlands tournaments in this post. During the era of the infamous Rebellion card set and the subsequent decisions that seemed counterproductive to attracting new players, such as removing Gladiator card burning in Decs and eliminating leagues, I stepped away from tournaments for almost a year and a half and dedicated myself to buying my first plots in Praetoria and acquiring my first workers to produce resources. It was with the arrival of Conclave Arcana and the introduction of Bloodlines that I decided to rejoin the Modern format and buy my first legendary Archons. I've been in that process since the second quarter of the year and now that I have my first 3 archons, along with the Foundations, I decided it was time to start generating with the investment I've made so far, by participating in tournaments.

Pero dado que ya estamos entrando en el último trimestre del año, quiero dejar constancia en esta publicación de mis inicios en los torneos de Splinterlands. Durante la era de la infame colección de cartas Rebellion y las sucesivas decisiones que me parecieron contra producentes para atraer a los nuevos jugadores como eliminar la quema de cartas gladiadoras en Decs y la eliminación de las ligas, me alejé por casi año y medio de los torneos y me dediqué a comprar mis primeras parcelas en Praetoria e ir comprando los primeros trabajadores para producir recursos. Fue con la llegada de Conclave Arcana y la introducción de los linajes que decidí reincorporarme al formato modern y comprar mis primeros arcontes legendarios. He estado en ese proceso desde el segundo trimestre del año y ahora que tengo mis primeros 3 arcontes, justo con los Foundations decidí que era el momento de empezar a generar con la inversión que hasta ahora he hecho, participando en los torneos.
Basically, this is a very long-term initiative that still requires me to keep investing in unit and Archon cards, but exclusively from Conclave Arcana. Spending on Rebellion cards is practically throwing your investment into a bonfire, because the moment that set goes to Wild, its value will plummet, and you'll have time to recoup your investment. That's why I'm starting from scratch in Modern with only the Conclave Arcana set, bolstered by Foundations cards and rewards, to advance in Modern ranked. Now, with tournaments, I'm opening up another avenue to generate income with my investment. I've only been playing for a week, and with these Archons, I've already managed to place in some tournaments and get some very good rewards.
Básicamente esta es una iniciativa a muy largo plazo y que aún requiere que siga invirtiendo en cartas de unidades y arcontes, pero eso sí, exclusivamente de Conclave Arcana porque gastar en cartas Rebellion es prácticamente tirar tu inversión a una pira de fuego, por que en el momento que este set de cartas pase a Wild su valor caerá drásticamente y tendrás tiempo de recuperar tu inversión. Por eso estoy empezando desde cero en modern únicamente con el set Conclave Arcana y reforzado con las cartas Foundations y rewards, para avanzar en el ranked moderno y ahora con los torneos abro nuevamente otra vía para generar ingresos con la inversión que hice. Apenas llevo una semana, y con estos arcontes ya he podido posicionarme en algunos torneos y obtener muy buenas recompensas.

Last Saturday I started these tournaments with practically 100 Decs, which I obtained by exchanging some liquid SPs generated from staking. In other words, I started from zero liquid SPs, and now, in just one week of activity, I've already generated 1028 SPs. Of course, I perform better in some tournaments than others; I particularly do much better in Modern or Wild tournaments with Conclave Arcana and Chaos Legion cards. Otherwise, I at least earn an amount of SPs that is double what I invested to enter the tournament, so with this first entry, I'm documenting my initial SP earnings through this method. I'll try to provide a brief weekly report of my production to evaluate my performance in these battles every seven days.
El sábado pasado comencé estos torneos prácticamente con 100 Decs que obtuve de cambiar unos cuantos sps líquidos generados del Staking, es decir comencé desde 0 Sps líquidos y ahora, en una semana de actividad ya generé 1028 Sps. Por supuesto en unos torneos tengo mejor desempeño que otros, particularmente me va mucho mejor en los que son moderno o wild con cartas Conclave Arcana y Chaos Legion. De resto al menos gano una cantidad en sps que al menos es el doble de lo que invertí para entrar en el torneo, así que con este primer registro dejo constancia de las ganancias iniciales en sps por esta vía. Intentaré hacer un breve reporte semanal de cuanto voy produciendo y de esta manera evaluar mi desempeño en estas batallas cada 7 días.
Brawls and Gladius Cases Opening/Brawls y Apertura de Gladius Cases
This week we had our usual guild battle, and well, I've had several positive experiences with these Brawls. The first is that I didn't have any connection problems or power outages, which caused my previous Brawl to be canceled. I hate when that happens because Brawls are an important source of Stake income, and missing a cycle of these battles means losing 4 or 5 days of Stake income. The other good news is that, since I'm in the Silver League battle, I can test my Arcane Conclave Archons, which are at the top of the Silver League, and I've had very good results! In fact, I won 5 out of 7 battles, and with the performance of the entire clan, we secured 2nd place.
Esta semana tuvimos nuestra acostumbrada batalla de gremios y bueno, he tenido varias alegrías con estas Brawls la primera es que no tuve problemas de conexión o fallas eléctricas, que me costaron el dejar desierta mi brawl anterior. Odio cuando eso pasa, porque las Brawls son una importante fuente de ingresos de Sps en Staking y perder un ciclo de estas batallas significa perder 4 o 5 días de ingresos en Sps. La otra buena noticia es que como estoy en la batalla de la liga de plata, puedo poner a prueba mis arcontes de Conclave Arcana que están al tope de la liga de plata y he tenido muy buenos resultados! De hecho gané 5 de mis 7 batallas y con el desempeño de todo el clan aseguramos el 2do lugar.
My Dragonlord Mancer's ultimate baptism came when I faced a Byzantine Kitty. It was a pretty close battle, but in the end, our strategy, taking advantage of the Blood Tribute ability, made the difference and secured our victory. It's interesting to see how these legendary archons from Untamed are still relevant after all this time.
El bautizo definitivo de mi Dragonlord Mancer lo tuve al enfrentar a un Bizantine Kitty, fue una batalla bastante cerrada pero al final nuestra estrategia aprovechando la habilidad tributo de linaje fue la diferencia que nos otorgó la victoria. Aunque es interesante ver como estos arcontes legendarios de Untamed siguen estando vigentes después de tanto tiempo.

With the money we earned in this Brawl, we bought four Gladius cases so we wouldn't spend all our merit and could continue accumulating large amounts for a possible set of new Gladiator cards.

The four packs were mostly common and rare cards, which is what I'm always hoping for. We only got one epic Gorth card, bringing our total to 22, but it's clear we're still a long way from the next level. The most important thing is to assess the state of our common/rare cards and see which ones are closest to the next level.
Los 4 packs fueron en su mayoría cartas comunes y raras que es lo que siempre estoy esperando, solo tuvimos 1 carta épica de Gorth con el que sumamos 22 pero es claro que estamos muy lejos todavía del siguiente nivel. Lo más importante es ver el estado de nuestras cartas comunes/raras y ver cuales están más cerca del siguiente nivel.
Let's take a look at the status of our common cards. Most of them are already at level 8, which is interesting because I didn't have to spend all my merits on massive pack purchases, but rather be patient and open 4 to 6 Gladius Cases each Brawl cycle. We're still missing Chimney Wallstop, Isgald Vorst, Hugo Strongsword, and Witch of Warwick; the rest are all at level 8. I think it's very likely that by the end of the year all my common gladiators will be at the top of the gold league.
Veamos el estado de nuestras cartas comunes, ya tenemos la mayoría en nivel 8 y es interesante porque no tuve que gastar todos mis méritos en compras masivas de packs, sino paciencia y abrir cada ciclo de Brawls entre 4 a 6 gladius case. Nos faltan Chimney Wallstop, Isgald Vorst, Hugo Strongsword y Witch of Warwick, de resto todas ya están en nivel 8. Creo que es muy probable que para finales de año todas mis gladiadoras comunes estén al tope de la liga de oro.
Let's look at the rare cards. Our gladiators are already at the top of the gold league, level 6! But if we consider that by using an epic level 5 archon we can use rare units at level 7, then we're missing 3 rare units: Orella Abadon, Relenor Cleaver, and Cutter Brieze, which is the furthest from reaching level 7. But just like the common cards, it's very likely that by the end of the year we'll have these cards at level 7 or very close to it.
Veamos a continuación las cartas raras, aquí en realidad ya nuestros gladiadores están al tope de la liga de oro, es decir lvl 6! Pero si consideramos que usando un arconte épico lvl 5 podemos usar unidades raras a lvl 7, entonces nos faltan 3 unidades raras: Orella Abadon, Relenor Cleaver y Cutter Brieze que es la que esta más lejos de alcanzar en nivel 7 pero al igual que las cartas comunes, es muy probable que a finales de año quizás tengamos estas cartas ya en nivel 7 o muy cerca de alcanzarlo.
Well, friends, that concludes this brief report on my Brawls and my first record of income from Brawl participation. It will be interesting to see exactly how many SPs we'll manage to generate in a year just by playing in tournaments. I had the bad idea of spending a good portion of my SPs on Decs to activate the workers on the lands I've been buying, so my blocked SPs are low. Bien amigos, con esto termino este breve reporte de mis brawls y mi primer registro de ingresos vía participación de Brawls. Será interesante ver de aquí a 1 año exactamente cuantos sps lograremos generar jugando solo en torneos, tuve la mala idea de gastar buena parte de mis sps en Decs para activar los trabajadores en las tierras que he ido comprando así que mis sps bloqueados son bajos. Ahora que estoy comenzando seriamente un mazo en moderno, veremos de aquí a agosto del 2027 cuanto Sps bloqueados logramos generar. Nos vemos la próxima semana amigos.
