The Golden Path 3rd Report: Opening My 3rd Aurelius Chest and Plot Production [Eng/Esp]
Happy Wednesday, citizens of Praetoria! Welcome to my 3rd Golden Path report, where we keep track of our progress in this addictive phase of Splinterlands: the virtual lands. This is our 3rd report, so we're starting it with our third week of opening Aurelius chests from the Volt Event. We have our Electrofox card at the maximum level, and therefore, we've accumulated enough to buy a 10K EVP Aurelus chest every Wednesday. So let's see if we're lucky and manage to get a Gold Foil variant or perhaps one of the awesome skins this card has.
Feliz miércoles ciudadanos de Praetoria! Bienvenidos a mi 3er reporte de la Senda Dorada, donde llevamos un registro de nuestro avance en esta adictiva fase de Splinterlands, las tierras virtuales. Es nuestro 3er reporte y por tanto vamos a empezarlo con nuestra tercera semana abriendo cofres Aurelius del Volt Event. Tenemos nuestra carta Electrofox al máximo nivel y por tanto, acumulamos la cantidad suficiente para comprar un Aurelus chest de 10K EVP cada miércoles. Así que veamos si tenemos suerte y logramos conseguir una variante de lámina dorada o quizás una de las geniales skins que tiene esta carta.

We were lucky again with ETN; we've already accumulated 2070 ETN in our account, while otherwise we only got 50 Glints, 5 Energy, and 1 Frontier chest, which is 100% guaranteed. What I am quite disappointed about is the amount of Glints they give for opening these chests. If you spend a week accumulating EVP after investing over $100, it's only logical that you should be adequately rewarded in terms of both investment and time. For example, I would change the Glint amounts, something like 500, 1000, 5000, and 10,000 Glints, with their respective drop rates. I would also change that, because a 65% chance of getting even 50 Glints is downright offensive for an Aurelius chest.
Volvimos a tener suerte con los ETN, ya sumamos 2070 ETN en nuestra cuenta, mientras que de resto solo conseguimos una cantidad de 50 Glints, 5 de energía y 1 cofre Frontier que esta 100% asegurado. En lo que si estoy bastante decepcionado es en la cantidad de Glints que entregan por abrir estos cofres, porque si estas 1 semana acumulando EVP después de hacer una inversión de más de 100$ lo más lógico es que fueras adecuadamente recompensado en términos de inversión y tiempo. Por ejemplo yo cambiaría las cantidades de glints, algo así como 500/1000/5000 y 10000 K en glints con sus respectivos porcentajes de caída que es algo que también cambiaría porque hasta un 65% de de conseguir 50 Glints es hasta ofensivo para un cofre Aurelius.
In short, I'm starting to fear that these rewards, and the way they were designed, fall into the same problem as the alchemy/legendary packs from Conclave Arcana, with reward percentages that are too low and don't justify the investment made. I thought they had fixed these issues a long time ago, but it seems they're still making the same mistake. This way, each event they promote will generate less interest, and few will invest in the future. At least I can say that I've received very good rewards from Electroneum, and that's what has motivated me to continue buying Aurelus chests.
En resumen estoy comenzando a temer que estas recompensas y la manera en la que se diseñaron, caen en el mismo error que tuvieron los packs alquimia/legendarios de Conclave Arcana con % de recompensas demasiado bajos y que no justifican la inversión realizada. Pensé que habían corregido estos temas hace ya bastante tiempo pero por lo que veo siguen cometiendo el mismo error, así cada evento que promocionen va a tener menos interés y serán pocos los que inviertan en el futuro. Al menos puedo decir que de parte de Electroneum he recibido muy buenas recompensas y es lo que me ha motivado a continuar comprando cofres Aurelus.
Plot Production/Producción de Parcelas
Moving on to more pleasant topics, this week we harvested our resource production in Praetoria, and although the price of Dec has fallen significantly, the resources have maintained their value and even increased. There are high expectations, the most important being the release of an exclusive set of cards for Lands, which has generated a lot of excitement among plot holders. I've already spent a good portion of my budget on the Electrofox event, so now I just have to wait for them to be offered on the market when the time comes.
Retomando temas más agradables, esta semana recogimos la producción de nuestros recursos en Praetoria y aunque el precio del Dec ha caído significativamente, los recursos han mantenido su valor e incluso se han revalorizado. Hay muchas expectativas, entre ellas y la más importante es la aparición de un set exclusivo de cartas para Lands que levantado mucho el entusiasmo entre los tenedores de parcelas. Actualmente gaste buena parte de mi presupuesto en el evento de Electrofox, así que solo me queda esperar a que sean ofertadas en el mercado cuando llegue el momento.
We're going to start by harvesting the grain production, because in my report last week we were activating our grain plot in Bredaine and although we only had enough Decs to lock in 2 workers, it's enough to supplement the production I have in Hamford.
Vamos a comenzar recogiendo la producción de grano, porque en mi reporte de la semana pasada estábamos activando nuestra parcela de grano en Bredaine y aunque solo contábamos con los Decs suficientes para bloquear a 2 trabajadores, es suficiente para complementar la producción que tengo en Hamford.

For the farm in Bredaine, I'm going to start by buying 30,000 Decs so I have them when I have the other three workers at maximum capacity. We need to take advantage of this low Dec price and secure enough tokens for the workers we'll be buying for the plots without workers and any future plots we might purchase.
Para la granja en Bredaine, voy a comenzar por comprar los 30K en Decs para cuando tenga los otros 3 trabajadores al máximo. Now that we have a farm in Bredaine, we can harvest what's produced on our stone plot in the same region, supplementing it with just a small amount of grain bought on the market. I need those three extra workers so I don't have to worry about feeding the workers at the rare quarry. The bulk of my grain production will go to Oxborough; I have a common stone quarry with only two workers and the epic quarry I have with a full complement of golden epic workers.
Ahora que tenemos una granja en Bredaine podemos recoger lo producido en nuestra parcela de piedra en la misma región, completando con solo una pequeña cantidad de grano comprado en el mercado. Necesito esos 3 trabajadores extra para no preocuparme por alimentar a los trabajadores de la cantera rara. En Oxborough es a donde va a ir el grueso de mis granos producidos tengo una cantera de piedra común con solo 2 trabajadores y la cantera épica que tengo con full trabajadores épicos dorados.
The final balance of all the stone we have comes to 669K. I don't remember exactly how much I managed to get last year, but the truth is I spent almost all of it on Conclave Arcana packs. This time I won't rush into selling my resources; I'll wait until the end of the year and see what I'll do next. One of my biggest goals would be to acquire a Runestone for my epic plot. I just hope that between now and the end of December the price of Decree recovers so I can make that a reality.
El balance final de toda la piedra que tenemos llega a 669K no recuerdo bien cuanto llegué hacer el año pasado, lo cierto es que lo gasté casi todo en packs Conclave Arcana. Esta vez no me precipitaré en vender mis recursos, esperaré a final de año y veré que será lo siguiente que haré. Una de mis mayores metas sería adquirir un Runi para mi parcela épica, solo espero que de aquí a finales de diciembre el precio del Dec se recupere para ver si puedo materializar esa posibilidad.
Finally, I wanted to close this report by highlighting the drop in land market prices. I've never seen plots selling for $7! Even epic plots have returned to their $50-$60 price range—a real opportunity if you want to start a project at this stage of the game. I would really be interested in those epic plots if they weren't in another territory, since my immediate focus is on developing in the Great Lowlands and increasing my stone production.
Por último, quería cerrar este reporte destacando la caída de los precios en el mercado de tierras. Nunca había visto parcelas vendiéndose a 7$! Incluso las parcelas épicas han regresado a su precio de 50-60$ una verdadera oportunidad si quieres empezar un proyecto en esta fase del juego. Realmente me interesaría por esas parcelas épicas sino fuera porque están en otro territorio, ya que en lo inmediato me interesa desarrollar en el territorio de Great Lowlands e incrementar mi producción de piedra.
