Thorns and Magic reflect skills with Amplify a strategy to face battles with the broken arrows ruleset - Battle Mage Secrets - Weekly Challenge! (En/Es).

Greetings Splinterlands community! Wishing you a happy weekend I want to share with you my participation in this week's Battle mage secrets where we will test our skills with a particular ruleset: broken arrows.

Broken arrows
This ability prevents us from using ranged units, this leaves us with the possibility of using monsters with melee and magic attacks. Keeping this in mind, there are skills that can be helpful when proposing a good strategy that we will evaluate below.
Esta habilidad nos impide el uso de unidades rango, esto nos deja con la posibilidad entonces de usar monstruos con ataques melé y mágicos. Teniendo esto presente hay habilidades que pueden ser de ayuda a la hora de plantear una buena estrategia que vamos a evaluar a continuación.
Magic reflect/Thorns/Amplify
Taking into account that any strategy that the opponent uses will involve 2 forms of melee or magical attack, so rather than thinking about a strategy that uses these skills, the most convenient thing seems to be the use of countermeasure skills such as Magic reflect and Thorns to make it the same enemy who daggers damage and weakens with his attacks.
Teniendo en cuenta que cualquier estrategia que utilice el oponente involucrará 2 formas de ataque melé o mágico, así que más que pensar en una estrategia que utilice estas habilidades lo más conveniente parece ser el uso de habilidades de contramedida como Magic reflect y Thorns para que sea el mismo enemigo quien se haga daga daño y debilite con sus ataques.
There are cards that combine these 2 abilities which makes them very complete defensive pieces like Lobstradamus or Lord Arianntus. To enhance its effect, the amplify skill is perfect and makes it viable to build a strategy based on the counterattack. For these reasons, the battle I want to present to you is one based on these defensive/counterattack skills, incorporating only 1 offensive card to finish off the enemy strategy, but any card but a gladius card. Let's get started!
Existen cartas que combinan estas 2 habilidades lo que las hace piezas defensivas muy completas como Lobstradamus o Lord Arianntus. Para potenciar su efecto, la habilidad amplify es perfecta y hace viable entonces armar una estrategia basada en el contraataque. Por esta razones, la batalla que quiero presentarles es una que basada en estas habilidades defensivas/contrataque incorporando tan solo 1 cartas ofensiva para rematar la estrategia enemiga, pero cualquier carta sino una carta gladius. Comencemos!
🎏⚔️Rules battle/Reglas de batalla
In this battle we have a mana limit of 23 so we must consider units with a cost between 2 to 5 mana to establish a competent alignment and we can choose between 4 elements: fire, life, death and dragon. Now let's see what the rulesets are in this fight:
En esta batalla tenemos un limite de mana de 23 por lo que debemos considerar unidades con un costo entre 2 a 5 de mana para establecer una alineación competente y podremos escoger entre 4 elementos: fuego, vida, muerte y dragón. Ahora veamos cuales son las rulesets en este combate:

Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles.

🧙♂️Summoner/Invocador: Franz ruffmane
Our strategic strategy will be partly defensive/counterattack and also offensive, for the offensive part we will use a gladius card and we will only be able to bring it into combat using the new soulbound summoners, in this sense our choice will be Franz ruffmane of the life element, it gives us +1 defense and the conscrypt ability that will allow us to summon a gladius card to the battlefield.
Nuestra estrategia estrategia será en parte defensiva/contrataque y también ofensiva, para la parte ofensiva utilizaremos una carta gladius y solo podremos traerla al combate usando los nuevos invocadores soulbound, en este sentido nuestra elección será Franz ruffmane del elemento vida, nos confiere +1 de defensa y la habilidad conscrypt que nos permitirá invocar una carta gladius al campo de batalla.
👾 Monsters/Monstruos: Pelacor conjurer
Due to the low mana limit we will use a minitank: Pelacor conjurer, the ability to fly and its high speed give it a high evasion rate and another important detail is that it has the magic reflect ability, because our opponent will only be able to attack us with magic or melee we will use this ability to return the magical damage we receive.

Debido al bajo límite de mana usaremos un minitanque: Pelacor conjurer, la capacidad de volar y su alta velocidad le confieren una alta tasa de evasión y otro detalle importante es que cuenta con la habilidad magic reflect, debido a que nuestro oponente solo podrá atacarnos con magia o melé usaremos esta habilidad para devolver el daño mágico que recibamos.
👾 Gargoya scrapper
The ideal in this position is to use Agent of Chaos but we barely have it at level 1 so we decided to place Gargoya Scrapper this way we can make our opponent waste turns while our true offensive card does the work.
Lo ideal en esta posición es utilizar al Agent of chaos pero apenas lo tenemos en nivel 1 asi que decidimos colocar a Gargoya scrapper de esta manera podremos hacerle gastar turnos a nuestro oponente mientras nuestra verdadera carta ofensiva hace el trabajo.
👾 Dax parangon
Amplify
Dax parangon es más que nada una carta de apoyo con su habilidad amplify incrementaremos el daño físico o mágico que devolvamos cuando nuestras unidades sean atacadas.
👾 Captain katie
Captain Katie will be our only gladius card and our only offensive unit in this lineup, not only her high magic damage makes her very dangerous but also her sniper and bloodlust abilities. The first ability ensures that it will attack those ranged or magical units in the secondary row and the second ability will allow this card to increase all its statistics as long as it eliminates a card when attacking.
Captain katie será nuestra única carta gladius y nuestra única unidad ofensiva en esta alineación, no solo su alto daño mágico la hace muy peligrosa sino sus habilidades sniper y bloodlust. La primera habilidad nos asegura que atacará aquellas unidades rango o mágicas en la fila secundaria y la segunda habilidad le permitirá a esta carta incrementar todas sus estadísticas siempre que elimine a una carta al momento de atacar.
👾 Evelyn Auvera
We close our team with Evelyn Auvera, it is a card without any attack but can return card attacks with the sneak ability, due to its immunity ability and its large amount of defense, it is ideal to cover our rear.
Cerramos nuestro equipo con Evelyn auvera, es una carta sin ningún ataque pero que puede devolver los ataques de cartas con la habilidad sneak, debido a su habilidad immunity y su gran cantidad de defensa es ideal para cubrir nuestra retaguardia.
⚔️Strategy and battle lineup/Estrategia y alineación de batalla
Once the battle is sent we can evaluate our opponent's strategy, a high damage melee lineup directed towards the rear but luckily we have Evelyn in the last position, let's see then how many attacks she is able to withstand before falling and how Captain Katie can make a difference in this battle.
Una vez enviada la batalla podemos evaluar la estrategia de nuestro oponente, una alineación de gran daño melé dirigido hacia la retaguardia pero por suerte tenemos a Evelyn en la última posición, veamos entonces cuantos ataques es capaz de soportar antes de caer y como Captain katie puede hacer la diferencia en esta batalla.

💥Round 1💥
Before starting the 1st round we have already dispatched Gobalano by executing his ambush attack, which leaves our opponent with Tejii stryker and Uraeus who are already weakened by attacking Evelyn and although they removed all of his defense, he still has his life intact.
Antes de comenzar el 1er round ya hemos despachado a Gobalano al ejecutar su ataque con emboscada eso deja a nuestro oponente con Tejii stryker y Uraeus que ya quedan debilitados al atacar a Evelyn y aunque removieron toda su defensa aun tiene su vida intacta.
💥Round 2💥
With the second round Uraeus ends up falling, leaving only Tenjii stryker as the only card with the possibility of attacking.
Con el segundo round termina de caer Uraeus dejando con solo Tenjii stryker como única carta con posibilidad de atacar.
💥Round 3-5💥
The third round is where our gladius card, Captain Katie, begins to shine! He has managed to eliminate Iidry fire thus activating his bloodlust ability increasing his magic damage, speed and health. Later he is in charge of eliminating the scavo chemist and the Scorch fiend in the 4th and 5th round respectively, reaching up to 6 magic damage. Finally Tenjii stryker, already weakened by the damage from Thorns, falls to Dax parangon, giving us the victory.
En el tercer round es donde nuestra carta gladius, Captain katie comienza a brillar! Se las ha arreglado para eliminar a Iidry fire activando así su habilidad bloodlust incrementando su daño mágico, velocidad y vida. Posteriormente se encarga de eliminar al scavo chemist y al Scorch fiend en el 4to y 5to round respectivamente, llegando hasta 6 de daño mágico. Finalmente Tenjii stryker ya debilitado por el daño de Thorns cae ante Dax parangon otorgándonos la victoria.
🎇Conclusions/Conclusiones
In this battle, knowing that it was not possible to use range cards, we adopted an anti-magic and anti-melee configuration reinforced by the amplify ability. Fortunately, our opponent used an alignment of cards with sneaker, thus sealing his fate.
Although with a high mana cost, soulboud summoners offer the possibility of posing new strategies such as posing an entirely defensive alignment with only a gladius card that can attack can be enough to win a battle.
En esta batalla sabiendo que no era posible usar cartas rango adoptamos una configuración antimagica y antimelé reforzada por la habilidad amplify afortunadamente nuestro oponente utilizó una alineación de cartas con sneaker sellando asi su destino.
Aunque con un alto costo de mana, los invocadores soulboud ofrecen la posibilidad de plantear nuevas estrategias como la de plantear una alineación enteramente defensiva con solo una carta gladius que pueda atacar puede ser suficiente para ganar una batalla.
