Hello Splinter nerds

This week Splinterlands battle mage secret is Target Practice

It is a rule set in which all magic and range monsters have the snipe ability, they focus their attack on the the second monster the opponent used if it is a non-attacking, range, or magic monster, melee monsters are safe from this rule even if they fall in the second position.

I was paired sinpsyo5 in a two ruleset.

The second rule was Back to basics in which all monsters lose their abilities but the summoners still have their stats intact.

All the splinters were available but I chose the Yodin Zaku fire splinter summoner and that is because of its blast stat but this could backfire if the opponent uses the water summoner with the fire return stat lir deepswimmer.

Fortunately for me, He used the earth summoner with the void ability, I used only one magic monster hence I am safe and won't be affected much by the choice of his summoner.

Based on the rule set, the blast summoner I used will be really useful as it will spread my attack to the two monsters adjacent to the one my monsters attacked.

Coeurl lurker & Almo cambio

Since the battle rule set was back to basic, the monsters had no ability so what is needed are monsters with long health and good power attack, Coeurl has those two qualities, and hence I use it as my tank, Almo cambio is a nonattack monster with long health too so I placed in the second position for it to take in the hit from the opponent.

Lava Launcher & Ash Mirage

These two monsters were among the powerful range attacks I used, Lava doesn't have a good speed but it used armor to complement its power while Ash Mirage has a good speed that complements its attack as well, both did great in this battle.

Djinn Inferni & Blood Maker

The djinn was the only magic monster I used, even though its attack was affected a little by immortalis, still it could not stop him, the blood maker was the last but not least monster in my team and it has a good speed too.

It was an easy win for me, that is because the opponent summoner didn't have much effect on my team, it would have been a different case if he used lir deep swimmer or the life summoner with the fire return stat.
