Medusa(ink drawing) / Splinterland art contest

It's another wonderful sunday out here to talk about another splinterlands character names Medusa. I don't think you are hearing that name for the first time. Medusa was not always hideous, she said was a beautiful maiden before she was cursed by Athena for having an affair with the sea god Poseidon. The curse made hair become snakes accompanied with green skin and a snake back end from her waist down ward. Anyone who looks upon the face of Medusa becomes a statue.
Exploring splinterland character has really helped me learn alot.
The materials i used in making this drawing are as follow: A black, red and green pen, an erase, A 6B pencil and An A4 paper.

The whole idea of the drawing started from the rough sketch in which i drew lightly then i began to shade using my black pen and to draw the lines and to make the dark tones. After using my red pen to colour the eyes and the sides, i used the green pen for the snakes and the black pen for the dark shades also. I was amazed by the outcome of this drawing, i hope it's appealing to you also. I appreciate your support and thank you so much for reading post. Untill next time😘.
