Splinterlands — PIZZA 4 Brawl report

🐲 Brawl Report 🐲

The Calzones had a decent third place showing the Brawl before this one, but I had a terrible losing record. My head wasn't in the right spot last Brawl and I was looking to bounce back with a more solid performance.

Tarsa v Quix — Starting off against a level two Quix and a solid lineup. Baakjira is a solid tank and tough to get past. Thankfully I had my favorite Bloodlust combo of Grum and Chimney. Win (1—0)

Kelya v Obsidian — Obsidian nearly always blows my Kelya teams away. My opponent choose no magic however and low health cards with the Noxious Fumes ruleset. Oh and Trample was the MVP. Win (2—0)

Kelya v Kelya — Evenly matched Kelyas. I didn't think I had this one won even up to the end. The difference here was my use of two cards with Trample and Disintigrator's Demoralize. Win (3—0)

Sloan v Sloan — I was worried when I saw this one load up. I don't use Sloan often, and my opponent had the higher level Sloan. Lucky for me, Captain Katie went nuts and single handedly won this one. Win (4—0)

Kelya v Quix — Up against another level two Quix. Wave Brood is one of my newest cards and it turned out to be a great meat shield in the back row. Win (5—0)

Obsidian v Sloan — I had concerns going against the level two Uriel, that card gives me so much trouble, especially when paired with Adelade! I should have been worried, I had plenty of magic attack to get past his armor and of course Quora! Win (6—0)

🎉🎉 6—0. Undefeated, that's how you bounce back from a poor Brawl performance. I took my time, had some luck roll my way and brought it home! 🥳🥳

We needed every one of those points I gained. Third place was only sox point behind and fourth was nine points behind. This was our best finish in a few Brawls and I was proud to have performed well and added so many points to the total.

The second place finish gave me enough merits for another Gladius case and the RNG gods were smiling down on me after the undefeated Brawl 😱 This might be the best pack I have ever opened! My first Gladius Legendary, another Quora and another rare and epic. Maybe if I keep up the great performances some of that luck will roll over to my Chaos packs 😀 Now I'm just being greedy I guess 😂
