Splinterlands — The Calzones Brawl Report

Back from vacation with another brawl report!

🐲 Brawl Report 🐲

I was able to enter my teams for the brawl previous to this one but opted not to create a brawl report as I was blissfully enjoying the great outdoors and being away from the computer. Well, vacation is over so time to get back into the routine 😀

Tarsa v Tarsa — Vorst is quickly becoming one of my favorite cards (can we get a non-Gladius equivalent 😀) My opponent had a solid team, but it is tough to beat a level three summoner with a level one. Win (1—0)

Kelya v Obsidian — I was worried when I saw Obsidian come up as Keyla can easily struggle against magic. My opponent however went heavy melee and it worked out. In hindsight I made a major blunder by placing Vorst in the front and still luckily managed the win. Win (2—0)

Kelya v Kelya — After several weeks of coming up agasint only level four summoners I started this brawl going against level one, two and three summoners. Being the higher level again helped bring home the win. Win (3—0)

Thaddius v Rathe — This might have been my fisrt battle against Rathe and Void Armor was not even on my radar. I was too magic heavy against a team prepared for magic damage. Loss (3—1)

Tarsa v Tarsa — Here's the level four summoners I had been used to. However, I still managed the win!!!! By one shot, but I'll take it. Win (4—1)

Thaddius v Obsidain — I made the right call debuffing Obsidian, but I couldn't overcome the more powerful cards. Looking back over my placement I could have done better, but going up against the level four Obsidian was still going to be a challenge. Loss (4—2)

Obsidain v Obsidain — The level four summoners are back to crush me 😀 Very similar lineups, but the two additional levels gave my opponent a large advantage. Loss (4—3)

Thaddius v Tarsa — My opponent waited until the last few hours, I thought I was going to have a free win with an opponent fled. Instead I finished against another level one summoner. I was surprised how many level ones I faced off against this time around. Witch of Warwick was a great asset this time around! Win (5—3)

🎉🎉 Eight total battles this time and I managed a five and three record! 🎉🎉

A tough go around for the Calzones, I'm happy I could contribute with a winning record as I have had poor showings the past two brawls. The eight crowns puts us two crowns and just over 9K DEC from our next building upgrade. Upgrading our Arena to level two will only help add to the crowns we can win. Good things are coming for the Calzones!

I was due for another installment of the Let it Ride Giveaway this post, but it is going to take me another round to get fully back into my flow. Hopefully I will have it all together next report and the giveaway will continue.
