How the Rulesets turned the Tides for my battle against Lama/Kron!

Hello dear Hive and Splinterlands community!

I've gotta admit: Silver is so damn fun compared to Bronze! Honestly get the heck out of Bronze! it's full of bots, the Mana Cap is rediculously low and no existant rewards... anyways, I'm gonna make some analysis of one of my battles against the infamous Lama/Kron and guess what? it was a really exciting win for me.
But the battle was somehow particular, as mentionned in the title, This battle's ruleset made a huge contribution to my win!

About the battle:

This is a high mana battle 56 Mana between my Possibilus and enemy Llama which was expected since my opponent's last 4 battles featured Llama/Kron combo.
Sadly I don't have an effective anti-magic composition (my death cards doesn't deal enough damage despite Thaddius -1 Magic nerf) so I've went for the heavy damage Melee Possibilus Team.

A little round-aroud about my Team:

  • The Kraken: one of the best Taunt Monsters with beefy Health and decent attack power, however it's major weakness is facing Magic damage
  • Goblin Mech: 4 melee damage + Pierce + Trample: The damage output always surprises me!
  • Demented Shark: All melee team comp? Here goes Inspire for additional Melee Damage!
  • DeepLurker: Take the opportunity to attack to weakest enemy AND triggers Trample! Deeplurker won't feel like a common card anymore with Possibilus
  • Nerissa Tridawn: High HP + 3 Magic damage and using Aimless ruleset to throw some random Magic hits
  • Feasting Seaweed: Another opportunity monster joins the fray!

Enemy Team

  • Grund: hits like a truck with 3 damage and Double Strike while protected from frontal attacks thanks to:
  • Mycelic Slipspawn: Taunt will unfortunately attract my opportunity monsters attacks (Aimless only applies on Ranged/Magic damage)
  • Queen Mycelia: Protect the entire team with additional +2 Armor
  • Goblin Psychic: Tank Heal and still deals some magic damage
  • Mitica Headhunter: A strong monster with high speed, 4 Ranged damage and enough health to be placed at the last position
  • Kron the Undying: We all know how OP it is!

About Rulesets

Aimless:

Scattershot sis huge in this Meta, it bypass Taunt and monsters tend to attack random enemies, so regarding my team, it's a heavy counter since enemy monsters ignores Kraken Taunt!
In the meantime, since Melee are not affected by Scattershot, his Micelic Slipspawn taunt will step on the way of my opportunity monsters and need to get past the Taunt first.

BUT:
Possibilus grantes every team member +2 Health leading to more tankiness and less prone to die in the first round:
Let's take a look at this comparaison:
15.png
This is the attack pattern of the enemy team at the 1st round, it's true tha FEASTING SEEWEED got taken down at a single shot, however it resulted in KRAKEN survival for an additional round and the ability to perform another attack!

16.png
On the 2nd round, funny (or lucky enough) the attacks were divided between the KRAKEN and GOBLIN MECH with both monsters surviving with 2 Health and 1 Health respectively.
That what allowed my team to perform more damage and thanks to Trample, many of the enemy team were killed!

Now if there was NO Aimless, this will be the attack pattern of the enemy team and it will result to KRAKEN left with only 1 Health at the end of the 1st round and will die quickly at the 2nd (while it lasted till the 3rd round in this battle)
17.png
Similar attack pattern will happen to Goblin Mech on the next round and it will die even quicker reducing my chances to win to Null!

Tis but Scratches:

Every monster acquires Cripple v, for each hit taken, it results in -1 permanent health making heals and Tank heal less effective the longer the battle goes on, the reason why I didn't bring any healer to my team.
SO:
Kron (and Goblin?) heals are less effective on each round
Kron (the Dying) usually gets 18 Health when Last Stand is activated and will Heal to +6 Health each turn while dealing hefty magic damage each turn
But Look at Kron Heals at the last round:

With enough damage to overcome the reduced Kron healing, The VICTORY was MINE!
