Crackin a few packs while im Quackin, and while the world is Slappin.
Seasons change and the Splinterlands Season draws near once again. Like a marking of an epoch of my life, here comes another grind for ranking/rating, and the hope for a nice stash of loot. This time i wont expect too much.
Also, the Riftwatcher packs can now be unlocked but i just have 3 packs. Luckily i seemed to have scored a decent opening for each pack that i shall unveil here 1 by 1.
RIFTWATCHERS
PACK 1
Seemed to have gotten lucky with a gold card in this 1st pack, lets take a closer look.
The Cabalist, interesting. With the Amplify ability, 2 magic damage and a speed of 3. Health at 5, somewhat beefy. Not bad for the 1st pack with some other basics in the pack. 3 Rares total which is good i suppose, including the Tinderlock and Scavo Technomancer.
Pack 2
The 2nd pack and a 2nd Goldy right out the gates. The Coastal Nymph, just a common but a Goldy nonetheless. Lets take a closer look.
Higher Mana requirement, interesting. A Ranged attack of 3, quite powerful, a speed of 3. Health 7 and the Scattershot Ability. Seems pretty cool, will be interesting to try out soon.
Pack 3
The Arachne Thug in Gold, what a beast, but just a common.
With a Melee attack of 3. Some shield and the Reach Ability. A speed of 3 and Health 5, seems to possibly be a useful card. Market price not so impressive but this pack also contains an Epic card.
The Sthispa, interesting name for sure. Decent market price but what does this character do....hmmm. Just the Phase ability to miss magic attacks apparently.
Season Standing
Well i managed to touch Gold 1 again, but ive come down again to about 2330 anyways. Its tough, i seem to get a luck streak that takes me up, but high level cards just beat me back down.
So ill end things there and hope that everyone keep rockin.
