BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! RULESET: Up to Eleven

My splinterlands battle post for the Battle Mage Secret Weekly Challenge.

Up to Eleven is the ruleset for this week's Battle Mage Secrets weekly challenge. The 'Up to Eleven' ruleset increases the damage of thorns, return fire, and magic reflect to enemy monsters by one. So, we should use monsters with thorns, return fire and magic reflect ability. This ruleset would be great if we could make a battle lineup using monsters with respective abilities such as magic reflect, thorns, and return fire.

Up to Eleven

Ruleset: Up to Eleven

  • Up to Eleven: All monsters will get the Amplify ability.

Mana cap: 21
Splinters: Fire, Water, Earth, Life, Death

My Strategy For The Battle

All monsters will get the Amplify ability because of the 'Up to Eleven' ruleset and My strategy is to use the Amplify ability effectively by using monsters with the Magic Reflect ability.

Alric Stormbringer (Water Summoner)
Alric Stormbringer is a rare water summoner. It will give one extra magic attack to our friendly monsters. So, it will be great if we use mostly magic monsters in our battle lineup. This summoner costs only 3 mana.

1. Prismatic Energy
Prismatic Energy is a neutral magic monster. I used this monster in the first position because of its higher health and magic reflect ability. This magic reflect ability will be more efficient because of the amplify ability. So, I think this monster is the best choice for the first position. Also, it has good speed and attack.

2. Tide Bitter
I used Tide Bitter epic water monster in the second position. This monster is a melee monster but it has Reach ability, so it can attack from the second position. Also, this monster has a Reflection Shield ability which is useful against monsters with Blast ability. This monster costs only 3 mana and I think it has much better stats according to its mana.

3. Crustacean King
Now I thought to use a monster to heal my first monster in my battle lineup. So, Crustacean King is the best choice as it has Tank heal ability which will help to heal my first monster. Crustacean King is a ranged attack monster that cost only 3 mana.

4. Merdaali Gaurdian
Again I used Monster with Tank heal ability. Meradali Gaurdian is a rare water monster that cost 3 mana. It has no attack, still a good monster because of its ability. So, I used two monsters to heal the first monster in my battle lineup. If one monster dies then another monster will still heal my monster in the first position.

5. Creeping Ooze
Then I used Creeping Ooze monster in the fifth position just because only one mana was left and this monster cost only one mana. I like this monster because of its Slow ability which helps us to reduce the speed of enemy monsters by one.

6. Torrent Fiend
In the last position I used the Torrent Fiend monster because the total mana was full and I thought to use 0 mana monster. This monster will help me to give a little extra defense.

The Opponent's battle lineup is filled with melee attack monsters while my focus is to use a combination of monsters with different attack types. Opponents have used some powerful melee attacks with few low mana monsters. The opponent's monsters got one extra speed and armor because of the respective summoner. My monsters got one extra magic attack because of the respective summoner. Opponents have also a stronger battle lineup.

In the first round, my monsters killed the opponent's first monster easily, and the opponent's monster killed my last two monsters. In the second round, my monster killed the opponent's next monster while the opponent's monster killed my other monster.

In the third round, my third monster died because of the opponent's sneaky monster. In the fourth round, my first monster killed the opponent's next monster. In the fifth round, the monster got damage from both sides but not a single monster died. In the sixth round, my two monsters were alive while the opponent's three monsters were alive. Still, my monster killed the opponent's monster one by one, and at last, I won the battle.

This battle was not that easy, my opponent's monsters did well too.

Conclusion

My strategy to use a monster with magic reflect ability did not help me directly. But that monster had a stronger attack, so still, it worked much better for me in the battle. The battle was tough but at last, I won the battle.
