UNICORN MUSTANG🍃Art Contest SPT

Primeramente utilice para el boceto un pincel Grafito para darle forma al personaje en cuanto al cuerpo y rostro, ya para el cabello quise ver cómo sería el resultado del pincel de Trenzas de 4 cabos que me parecio ideal para darle esa representación al estilo rasta. Para el delineado y boceto en limpio abrí otra capa y utilice un pincel de Lápiz grueso que le dio un trazo bastante pixelado, dando los detalles que quería al rostro y piel, y a su vez aplicando nuevamente para agregar volumen al cabello el mismo pincel de Trenzas de 4 Cabos para luego hacer una capa de recorte y aplicar un color gris neutro para visualizar mejor los trazos.

First I used for the sketch a Graphite brush to give shape to the character in terms of body and face, and for the hair I wanted to see how would be the result of the 4 strands Braids brush that seemed ideal to give that representation to the rasta style. For the outline and clean sketch I opened another layer and used a thick pencil brush that gave a fairly pixelated stroke, giving the details I wanted to the face and skin, and in turn applying again to add volume to the hair the same 4-Head Braids brush and then make a trim layer and apply a neutral gray color to better visualize the strokes.

En esta segunda fase aplique la capa de colores base, con un color bastante claro para no saturar ni oscurecer tanto la piel y poder tener una capa de sombreado bastante notorio, donde agregue los detalles de la piel de la carta del Unicorn Mustang, el cual se caracteriza por tener algunas manchas rojizas en su pelaje. Luego uni las capas para pasar hacer la técnica de difuminado con pequeños toque para darle ese estilo surrealista y no se vieran estáticos y muy sólido los colores que apliqué a la piel.

In this second phase I applied the base color layer, with a fairly light color to not saturate or darken the skin so much and to have a layer of shading quite noticeable, where I added the details of the Unicorn Mustang's skin, which is characterized by having some reddish spots on its fur. Then I joined the layers to make the blurring technique with small touches to give it that surreal style and not look static and very solid colors that I applied to the skin.

En esta última etapa agregue el fondo con tonos azules, turquesa y tonos rosas, lila y morados aplicando difuminado y borrosidad para dar un fondo de un atardecer cálido y permitir una vistosidad al personaje ya que tiene bastante contraste y sombreado, de manera que necesitaba un fondo iluminado. Luego agregué una capa de brillos para darle ese toque mágico a este ser mítico en su humanización iluminando algunos rasgos del mismo por la procedencia de las luces, igualmente quise iluminar el fondo con algunos luceros y estrellas. Proseguí aplicando otra capa de brillo por la iluminación procedente del ambiente del fondo para algunos bordes del personaje, lo cual me gustó ya que no se ven los bordes de la piel tan secos y cortantes, sino que permitió una integración con el fondo, donde utilice un pincel de Aerógrafo Pulverizado. Por último para sobresaltar algo los brillos e iluminación baje un poco más el contraste de la capa del boceto en limpio donde había unido la capa de color y de sombreado. De manera que me gustó el resultado porque permitió resaltar más las áreas sombreadas. Así culmine esta técnica algo surrealista para este ser mágico y mítico en su forma humana. In this last stage I added the background with blue, turquoise and pink, lilac and purple tones applying blurring and blurring to give a background of a warm sunset and allow a showiness to the character as it has enough contrast and shading, so I needed an illuminated background. Then I added a layer of glows to give that magical touch to this mythical being in his humanization illuminating some features of it by the origin of the lights, I also wanted to illuminate the background with some stars and stars. I continued applying another layer of brightness for the illumination coming from the background environment for some edges of the character, which I liked because the edges of the skin are not so dry and cutting, but allowed an integration with the background, where I used an Airbrush Spray brush. Lastly, to bring out the highlights and illumination I lowered the contrast of the clean sketch layer a bit more where I had joined the color and shading layer. So I liked the result because it allowed to highlight more the shaded areas. Thus I finished this somewhat surrealistic technique for this magical and mythical being in his human form. I hope you like this technique I achieved! 😊
