WAILING WRAITH💀 Splinterlands Art Contest SPT W-277

Lo primero que hice fue usar el pincel tipo pelo para realizar el boceto, por su fluidez y suavidad. Me tomé el tiempo de enmarcar bien el boceto para tener la textura que quería y jugar con las sombras y brillos, que es una de las partes del dibujo que más me gusta y que más tiempo le dedico. Luego, usando otra capa, fui aplicando la base de color y luego pincelando con tonos fríos, empezando a detallar los ojos, que son muy expresivos y llamativos. Después de ir mezclando y suavizando la piel, agregué líneas de iluminación para texturizar, queriendo que tuviera bastante textura la piel de este personaje por ser como una especie del inframundo. Después seguí con su mano calavérica y el resto de su cuerpo, usando el método normal de mezcla. Noté que después de terminar la piel, la carta original tenía un tono lila oscuro, así que tuve que cambiar el color en ajuste, que me ayudó muchísimo. Antes, cuando me pasaba eso, cambiaba de color volviendo a pincelar desde cero, sin conocer muy bien las ventajas del programa.

The first thing I did was use the hair-type brush to make the sketch, due to its fluidity and softness. I took the time to frame the sketch well to have the texture I wanted and play with shadows and highlights, which is one of the parts of the drawing that I like the most and that I spend the most time on. Then, using another layer, I applied the colored base and then brushed with cold tones, beginning to detail the eyes, which are very expressive and striking. After blending and softening the skin, I added lighting lines to texturize, wanting this character's skin to have a lot of texture because it was like a species from the underworld. Then I followed up with his skull hand and the rest of his body, using the normal mixing method. I noticed that after finishing the skin, the original card was a dark lilac tone, so I had to change the color in setting, which helped a lot. Before, when that happened to me, I would change the color by brushing again from scratch, without really knowing the advantages of the program.

También me enfoqué en su mano con garras, que es más grande, así que apliqué expandir para ubicarla bien. Para esto, cloné la capa. Así mismo, para agregar el color rojo de sus pechos, cloné la capa y solo usé esa sección con ajuste de color. Me sentí muy cómoda trabajando, ya que son técnicas nuevas para mí, sin tener que dibujar por encima de lo que ya dibujé. Seguí en una nueva capa con la tela, haciéndola algo traslúcida bajando su opacidad, y también el turbante. Sentí que avancé bastante en este punto y trabajé los ojos con varias capas y de igual forma la boca. Fueron bastantes detalles hasta ese punto y vi que faltaban los accesorios. Por el tiempo, tomé del mismo programa accesorios que modifiqué para integrar al personaje. Esto le dio un realce a toda la gama de colores y le dio más personalidad.

I also focused on his clawed hand, which is larger, so I applied expand to position it well. For this, I cloned the layer. Likewise, to add the red color of her breasts, I cloned the layer and only used that section with color adjustment. I felt very comfortable working, since they are new techniques for me, without having to draw on top of what I already drew. I continued on a new layer with the fabric, making it somewhat translucent, lowering its opacity, and also the turban. I felt like I made a lot of progress at this point and worked on the eyes with several layers and likewise the mouth. It was quite a bit of detail up to that point and I saw that the accessories were missing. For the time being, I took accessories from the same program that I modified to integrate the character. This enhanced the entire color range and gave it more personality.

Ya finalmente, me faltaba el cabello, que trabajé con varias capas primarias y secundarias para darle profundidad y definí con la brocha tipo pelo. Usé difuminado y agregué los detalles de brillos y esa esencia que brota de ella, que le da un toque mágico y misterioso. Y así terminé esta pieza para este concurso de la semana, que me llevó varias horas de trabajo, pero que valieron la pena.

Finally, I was missing my hair, which I worked with several primary and secondary layers to give it depth and defined with the hair brush. I used blurring and added the glitter details and that essence that comes from it, which gives it a magical and mysterious touch. And so I finished this piece for this week's contest, which took me several hours of work, but it was worth it.

Fue muy divertido y desafiante trabajar en un personaje así, que tiene mucho carácter y estilo. Quería compartir con todos mi proceso y mi resultado, y también que las nuevas técnicas que aprendí me han ayudado mucho a mejorar mi arte y a ahorrar tiempo. Me siento orgullosa de mi trabajo y espero que les guste a los demás.
