Greetings Hive friends! Welcome everyone to my workshop DC DRAWING DC in this opportunity I will share with you the creative process of my new splinterland doodle notebook.

I like to have sketchbooks, notebooks and notepads to draw in. In other opportunities I have made some #DIY notebooks but this one in particular I decorated it with some doodles that make reference to my favorite splinterland cards.

¡Saludos amigos de Hive! Sean todos bienvenidos a mi taller Bricolaje DC en esta oportunidad les compartiré el proceso creativo de mi nueva libreta de garabatos de splinterland.

Me gusta tener cuadernos de apuntes, agendas y libretas para dibujar. En otras oportunidades he realizado algunas agendas #DIY pero esta en especial la decoré con algunos garabatos que hacen referencia a mis cartas favoritas de splinterland.

For this work I used a sheet of red string paper. Black marker, white liquid chalk, white pastel chalk, black gel pen with 0.5 tip, pencil, compass, 2 sheets of acetate for laminating, measuring ruler, paper guillotine, heat machine for laminating, white ring #2, white opaline cardboard, sheets of lustrillo paper and colored thread paper, geometric shapes template, banding machine.

Para este trabajo utilicé una hoja de papel hilo de color rojo. Marcador de color negro, tiza líquida de color blanco, tiza pastel color blanco, bolígrafo de gel color negro punta 0.5, lápiz, compás, 2 láminas de acetato para plastificar, regla de medidas, guillotina de papel, máquina de calor para plastificar, anillo #2 color blanco, cartulina opalina de color blanco, hojas de papel lustrillo y de papel de hilo de colores, plantilla de formas geométricas, máquina para anillar.

I took the red colored sheet and started doodling some of my favorite characters. I was inspired by the letters of Fungus Flinger, Flying squid, Sabre Shark, Feral spirit,

I also took some elements like the wing from Angel of light or the trident from Nerissa tridawn.

I really enjoyed this creative process. I like to do free strokes and I think this will be a good way to represent the characters of the cards of this important hive game.

Tomé la hoja de color rojo y comencé a garabatear algunos de mis personajes favoritos. Me inspiré en las cartas de Fungus Flinger, Flying squid, Sabre Shark, Feral spirit,

También tomé algunos elementos como el ala de Angel of light o el tridente de Nerissa tridawn.

Disfruté mucho este proceso creativo. Me gusta hacer trazos libres y creo que está será una buena forma de representar los personajes de las cartas de este importante juego de la colmena.

Once I finished all my doodles, I set about laminating the covers. I gave the machine a few minutes of heat and then went through the covers of my notebook one by one.

Una vez que terminé todos mis garabatos, me dispuse a plastificar las tapas. Le di unos minutos de calor a la máquina y luego pasé una por una las carátulas de mi libreta.

After I had the covers, I cut the edges with a special cutter for round corners.

Luego de tener las carátulas, corté los bordes con un cortador especial para esquinas redondas.

I then punched out sheets of opaline card stock. I also interleaved sheets of onion paper to protect the future works. As I really like to work on colored sheets I left some sheets of lustrillo paper and thread paper so I can make some colored designs.

Luego de esto perforé las hojas de cartulina opalina. También intercalé hojas de papel cebolla para proteger los futuros trabajos. Como me gusta mucho trabajar trazos sobre hojas de colores dejé algunas hojas de papel lustrillo y de papel de hilo así podré hacer unos diseños en color.

After attaching the ring, I cut off the excess and shaped the ends of the ring round.

And that's how I finished my splinterland doodle notebook.

Luego de colocar el anillo, corté el excedente y di forma redonda a las puntas del anillo.

Y así es como terminé mi cuaderno de garabatos de splinterland.

I can't wait to start using my splinterland doodle pad. I really like to experiment with merging techniques and one of the ones I have in mind is watercolor with zentangle.

No puedo esperar para comenzar a utilizar mi cuaderno de garabatos de splinterland. Me gusta mucho experimentar con la fusión de técnicas y una de las que tengo en mente es la de acuarela con zentangle.
