Splinterlands Daily Quest Log: Day 9

Today my daily quest was to get five wins with the fire splinter. Last season this was my favorite splinter and it was almost all I ever used. This season, the death splinter seems to be out in full effect and the death splinter chews up and spits out the fire splinter. It took me thirteen games to get five wins which is not very good, but at least the daily is done!

As far as my fire strategy goes, typically in the fights under 18-19 mana I use pyre to get the speed bump and in the fights that are above that range I tend to use Malric. Similarly, in the fights with bigger mana I use Living Lava as my tank and in lower mana fights I use Cerberus as my tank.

My wins for today's quest were:

Win 1: Fire Splinter vs Fire Splinter
Win 2: Fire Splinter vs Earth Splinter
Win 3: Fire Splinter vs Death Splinter
Win 4: Fire Splinter vs Death Splinter
Win 5: Fire Splinter vs Death Splinter

With all of those wins and the hard work it took to get them I was "rewarded" with another potion that I may never get to use. This time I was given an Alchemy Potion, which is only the second one of these that I have ever received.

Again, I must keep grinding and hope for better rewards in the future. Here is to hoping that I do not go seven for seven on receiving potions this week as I am already two for two at this point!
