Aloo Pyaz ka Paratha Recipe (Potato Onion Paratha Recipe):

Hello Hive family! I hope you're all doing well. Today, I'm sharing one of my favorite recipe "Aloo Pyaaz ka Paratha".

Potato Paratha is quite liked as a breakfast option. Potato Paratha with yogurt tastes amazing, but have you ever tasted Potato Onion Paratha? This is a favorite dish for many people. If you want to try something different for breakfast this time, you can make Potato Onion Paratha by adding a little twist to the much-loved Potato Paratha. Everyone in the family will like it. Especially, children will be delighted just by seeing it. Aloo Pyaz ka Paratha (Potato Onion Paratha) is an easy recipe. If you want to try making this recipe at home, i am going to tell you an easy method for that.

Ingredients

• Wheat Flour – 2 Cup (1/4 salt)
• Water – ¾ Cup
• Potatoes – 3 Boiled Potatoes
• Onion – 1 medium size (finely chopped)
• Green chilli – 2 (cut into small pieces)
• ginger-- 1 inch (grated)
• Salt – ½ Tablespoon (or according to your taste)
• Red Chilli Powder – ¼ Tablespoon
• Garam Masala – ¼ Tablespoon
• Coriander Leaves – around 2 Tablespoon
• Asafoetida – only a pinch (Optional)
• Ghee / Vegetable Oil – 1 Bowl

Directions for making aloo pyaaz paratha

The first step is to make the dough. Gradually add water to the wheat flour. Don't make the dough too hard or too soft. Aim for a medium texture.

Take a deep-bottomed vessel and mash the boiled potatoes in it. Now add chopped onions, coriender, green chili, and ginger into it and mix well.

Now, add red chili powder, asafoetida, garam masala, and salt according to taste to this mixture, and mix them all together well to prepare the stuffing.

Take some dough and roll it out.

Put the stuffing in the middle of the rolled dough. Make sure to use a good amount of stuffing.

Dip the stuffed ball in wheat flour and gently roll it to the desired thickness and size.

Heat a pan and place the rolled Paratha on it.

Let it cook on one side, then flip it over and check if it's turned brown.

Put oil or ghee on the cooked side while letting the other side cook.

Now the Paratha is cooked on both sides and ready to be served.

You can serve it with yogurt, butter, pickle, green coriander chutney, or homemade cream.
