Splinterlands Art Contest Week 197 |TIME MAGE INSPIRATION [ENG-ESP]

Hello all bloggers, today I bring you my entry for this week's splinterlands contest I am very excited to show you because it was a challenge for me to change my drawing style for this occasion and recreate a character in a different way; but at the same time I feel it is something necessary in an artist, to get out of your comfort zone and I hope you like the result.

Hola a todos bloggers, hoy les traigo mi entrada para el concurso de esta semana de splinterlands estoy muy emocionado de mostrarles pues fue un reto para mi cambiar por esta ocasión mi estilo de dibujo y recrear un personaje de una manera diferente; pero a mismo tiempo siento que es algo necesario en un artista, salir de su área de confort y espero les guste el resultado.

Well, to start with the sketch; time mage which is the character I decided to recreate, gives off an innocence and tenderness in a way and for those who have been following my work, you know that is the style I love. That my illustrations speak with that sense of tenderness.

Bueno para empezar acerca del boceto; time mage que es el personaje que decidí recrear, desprende de sí una inocencia y una ternura de alguna manera y para los que vienen siguiendo mi trabajo, saben que es el estilo que amo. Que mis ilustraciones hablen con ese sentido de ternura.

God knows I love pointed ears like those of elves, fairies or goblins and although the character doesn't have them, I thought they would give him an even more magical touch than the one he already has. On the other hand, I'm also keeping of course features of the original character himself like his eye and hair color.

Dios sabe que me encantan las orejas puntiagudas como las de los elfos, hadas o duendes y aunque el personaje no las tiene, pense que le darían un toque aún más mágico que el que ya tiene. Por otro lado, también estoy conservando por supuesto rasgos del mismo personaje original como su color de ojos y cabello.

I must also admit that the armor and the costume as such was a real challenge; because I wanted it to look like fabric and not something super static and I wasn't achieving it very much. In the end I put these details like his cape and the watch in the background that I really loved. And for the background as always I like a nice background but not too much, so I placed some neon that finished giving the touch I was looking for and I'm happy with it.

Debo admitir también que la armadura y el vestuario como tal fue un verdadero reto; pues quería que pareciera tela y no algo super estático y no lo estaba logrando mucho. al final coloque estos detalles como su capa y el reloj al fondo que realmente los ame. Y pues para el fondo como siempre me gusta un fondo lindo pero que no resalte mucho,así que coloqué unos neón que le terminaron de dar el toque que buscaba y estoy feliz con ello.
