From new games to active airdrops, the topic of HIVE Blockchain gaming has become increasingly complex. Todays write up contains information concerning the following projects Stardom play(free P2E), Muterra (Airdrop), Genesis League Sports (Airdrop), Hashkings (Airdrop), & Splinterlands(game updates).

Is the sky falling?

Just a quick observation before we begin, there are a shocking number of active airdrops on HIVE P2E games right now, while nothing will quite touch the Splinterlands SPS Airdrop.

You would be remise to miss out on any of these, so just keep that in mind, despite the fact none are totally free to take part in.

Those totally new starting out with nothing, we have all been there(I certainly have), so there are a few tips included for those starting with very little in the way of financial resources.

No.1 Stardom play(free P2E)

A new free P2E in the same vein as Rising Star, but Actors instead of Musicians.

The Conceptual design similarities stop at the mission mechanics & player NFT build, given Stardom Play is still fairly new its serviceable for what the game consists of.

The game Stardom Play is a totally Free 2 Play HIVE P2E, however without NFTs you are stuck on the Casting Call mission.

Personally I dropped $1-$2 on Stardom Play NFTs from NFTmart secondary market, from other players.

I did this to better test there title & stock up for future NFT giveaways, selling for 0.2-0.5 HIVE on average on NFTmart is a better deal in this authors opinion then their current pack sale.

Bonus free HIVE P2E

When first starting out with P2E games, titles like Stardom Play or Rising Star can be quite helpful as they are free to play.

Rising Star gets a little more credit for being a little older & much more complex then Stardom Play. From real life musicians turning their work into Rising Star NFTs, to a in depth rewarding P2E in which you build a NFT band & rise to stardom.

There is actually much more to Rising Star its truly free to play & I recommend all new HIVE gamers check it out.

No.2 Muterra Airdrop

Muterra may not quite be in a playable alpha build just yet, however Muterra has a few sales going on currently.

While normally I stay away from red flags like second sales with no full game to speak of yet, its just good business sense.

In this authors opinion realistic project growth appears to be fairly evident so despite my better judgment the project has me intrigued.

No.3 Hashkings Airdrop

An odd Airdrop, that is still active is for BUDSX Holders currently receive portions of the Hashkings Gen 3 Avatar packs daily.

Portions of NFT Packs?

A bit crazy sounding until you realize Smart Contracts on HIVE are only really possible through Crypto.

What does a Smart Contract have to do with an NFT pack?

Everything, the overly simplified answer its how NFT packs function.

This is why on HIVE my crypto like BUDS is found in the same place as packs like DCBETA & MCRATE.

What makes Hashkings rather unique usually these packs are only bought or sold as whole units where as Hashkings can distribute just a portion of a pack obviously only redeemable as a whole unit in game.

When you have a whole unit of any of Hashkings avatar NFT packs in your HIVE wallet & want to redeem it for the avatar NFTs inside First in game click packs on the Hashkings option menu as circled in the image above.

Then choose your avatar pack type

For this example we are opening an HKGENTHREE Pack however the instructions should be the same on all HK Avatar Packs at time of writing.

When clicking open packs you get the screen shown above.

First transfer the number of packs you wish to open to the HK vault via the circled interface.

Then hit open pack button bringing up the menu above clicking next pack then opens your pack.

Then you have successfully opened an avatar pack, avatars can be forged together, used to play Hashkings / Raids, & bought / sold on NFT mart.

Avatar NFTs have a complex Power / Level system in Hashkings, however I'm going to change the subject slightly.

To a Slight Redesign with the MOTA pool system.

Before you would stake MOTA to a region now you burn MOTA to drop seed NFTs that week based on your overall amount of MOTA burned vs the overall MOTA burned that week total.

Currently when I burn just 5 MOTA The game says this will earn this this many Seeds when distributed, however that changes based on how many MOTA players burn that week in the region.

Having tested this, in this authors opinion Seed NFTs have never been so affordable.

I burned 8 MOTA on South America last week & it rewarded me with 11 Seed NFTs for south America.

When first burned it stated I would get 80 Seeds but it was a non fixed number changing with the MOTA burned by everyone in that region.

11 Seed NFTs for 8 MOTA which would cost a little over $0.16

Already a good deal but burning BUDS can generate MOTA via the MOTA pool system.

Meaning savvy players whom own a few Land plot NFTs & Water tower NFTs (or rent them).

Can basically produce BUDS for free, BUDS can be useful for a number of reasons.

Including the BUDS staking option resulting in BUDSX, BUDSX is what the HKGENTHREE Airdrop is based around.

No.4 Genesis League Sports Airdrop

Does this mean someone is being ripped off, by players making money playing Splinterlands?

For starters cards NFTs can start at $0.01 each, you can run a season on rentals for approximately $6-$8 this is usually enough for myself to clear Gold rank 1.

In a season the daily & Seasonal rewards chests combined for myself total on average around 80 Gold Chests / 25 silver chests.

The prizes combined usually double my rental costs, I rarely loose money if ever my largest deficit when I had personal problems keep me from playing for a week with that seasons rentals I lost just over $2.

Keep in mind I have played Splinterlands for years earning thousands of dollars doing so, so my schedule conflict costing me $2 once no big deal.

Usually give away more then that to readers on every HIVE post.

You will need $10 to purchase a Spell Book allowing Players to monetize Splinterlands. In this authors opinion Splinterlands is such a awesome TCG its worth a $10 Sticker price, the $10 Spell book is simply monetizing this amazing title.

Unlike any TCG this author has personally played including MTG, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, & Hearthstone. Splinterlands is a solid everchanging TCG exciting & fun in its own right.

Splinterlands just happens to also be a blockchain game.

Blockchain gaming, is not a scam Blockchain actually serves as a necessary tool. Splinterlands Game Items AKA NFTs (Non Fungible Tokens) can be owned traded or sold outside of the game itself.

Why would you want a Game Item outside a video game?

Blockchains can be quite the energy sponge, causing a environmental impact as most energy production methods pollute the planet.

Green energy options from solar, to geothermal, hydroelectric, & even wind farms cant function everywhere unfortunately.

By Most estimates there are around 54 years worth of Fossil Fuels on Earth total. Its not possible to extract all of that oil + since humans behave like addict's with fossil fuels, & Increase usage in spite of dwindling supplies.

Personally my estimate is, fossil fuels hit problematic scarcity levels in around 35 years or less, & Depleting most accessible fuel around 45 years from now.

This breakthrough involves nuclear Fusion that generates an energy gain, as appose to resulting as an energy deficit. Scientists have been messing with Fusion since like the 70s, however it always would require more energy then the process generates in lab tests.

A breakthrough recently resulted in the tests generating energy from sustained Hydrogen Fusion.

Fission is used in nuclear power reactors since it can be controlled, while fusion is not utilized to produce power yet, However this can possibly change in the near future.

Not the solution to all the problems we currently face on earth, however this is welcome news, as the applications of controlled Nuclear Fusion energy production are nearly endless.
