I May have had my most profitable season yet in Splinterlands, So a cost reward analysis & NFT giveaways. I may have found some Splinterlands market info many may find useful. Things are just getting started with Splinterlands, cant wait to see what comes next.

Rewards Last season

I may have had my most profitable season yet in Splinterlands, Finishing at max Diamond tier 3 rank with 51 Rewards chests.

The Potions are not to be undervalued as they are the most important part of opening packs.

Merits also a nice addition to rewards I personally like their addition.

206400 DEC in 1 chest!!!

206400 DEC is over $140 USD in 1 Seasonal rewards chest at Diamond rank 3.

1 chest I made back 10x my investment on rentals which for the season totaled less then $14.

Most profitable season in a while, not to say I'm ever just breaking even, but just over $160 USD isn't bad.

Keep in mind this is a spectacularly high DEC payment in 1 chest the highest I have ever even seen. Diamond rank rewards chests have a 16x DEC multiplier which is one of its biggest draws since the update.

Merits

A Guild Shop payment option in Splinterlands Merits Are one of the better rewards since they where added to rewards chests.

Having donated over 70,000 DEC to my Guilds Buildings in cannacurate. Since joining last year we have tried our hardest to get our Market upgraded to allow us to purchase Gladius Cases with Merits.

2,000 Merits buys a guild member a Gladius case with a level 3 market.

My rewards chests over the last week have held 3,600 Merits + my Brawl rewards enough for 2 Gladius cases.

Right now Gladius cases for my guild cannacurate have lower odds due to our guild market level being to low to purchase Guild Pack potions. To upgrade a building the guild members donate DEC a guild leader then upgrades the building when donations & pre requirement levels have been met.

Despite my lack of potions My luck keeps going of the 2 Gladius Cases I bought I got the Cards shown above.

A Gold Epic Gladiator card adds 10,000 account power or can be burned for 10,000 DEC. So while yes it has value I prefer to keep it due to Gladiators being used in guild brawls soon to be monetized.

The second pack nothing Special but I'm building quite the collection of Gladiators.

This as well as account power is worth the 76,000 DEC investment, & I'm sure to continue to invest more in my Splinterlands Guild Canna-curate.

Public info Importance

Blockchain is a aspect of the gaming industry without parallel where the rest of the world needs leaked info or press releases Blockchain games snitch on themselves.

Meaning assets when generated for a play to earn game like Splinterlands are recorded in its corresponding ledgers.

For instance search Rift in Hive Engine or Tribal Dex you find their rift Watcher packs have been added.

Why does this info matter?

It does & it doesn't, depending entirely upon what you do with it personally.

Myself I view this as a warning giving me a heads up on the rift watchers packs.

Given Rift Watchers packs will be purchased using SPS from the in game market exclusively according to prior statements by the company.

Knowing the stages of their pack development is curtail to establish a time line.

Next I watch WAX NFT creation by their Splinterlands colection account, this is public info I use to understand what a market will do before the general public does.

Not fool proof subjective markets are notoriously fickle but better informed better armed.

Potion Importance

I'm a independent contractor by trade Specifically concrete flat work, given this background I understand the nature of commerce better then most.

When a Play to earn game like Splinterlands sells something called a potion my first thought is its a rip off. Not necessarily a scam but not worth worrying about overall.

So for 2 years now I have been recording / testing pack openings both with or without potions with varying packs & odds.

While several thousand packs isn't enough for truly useful statistics, my numbers indicate their legitimacy. Particularly DICE packs with all the cards added from airdrops I noticed the startling difference with & without potions.

Now I wont open a pack without 5 of each potion, given they now are rewards for playing in stacks of 10 or more never been a better time to be playing Splinterlands daily.

Is it a guarantee, no its not, but of the 11 legendary gold cards I have gotten I used potions on 10 of them. The other Gold legendary is a Rewards card.

Chaos Over Classic

More modern Chaos legion & rewards cards are my preferred cards to play with on the Wild ranked matches.

While they lack in power or burn value their utility value is far superior to past Splinterlands cards.

My Team on the bottom using 1 card from previous generations V.S the binged up monster on the top.

Not going great

If you where going to place a bet on the winner now I actually probably wouldn't choose myself to win.

How the hell did this happen? Ranged attackers while having usually higher attack cant fire in the first position & can miss.

Weather a power player or more likely a bot I got that win however unlikely.

Where do P2E games get their power?

Their Support from & popularity with their player base.

Splinterlands is no different in this regard, we the players give Splinterlands its power.

As it stands Splinterlands & HIVE have drastically improved my life, this is why I hold the both of them in such high regard.

I understand a TCG like Splinterlands may not be everyone's cup of tea, if your on HIVE their health matters to you in the long run.

Splinterlands is to HIVE that Disney is to the Movie industry, one cant exist without the other.

I understand working your way up is hard & it took me years to be where I can afford to rent cards every day to play.

This is why I give away so much to my readers on HIVE I understand how valuable small charitable acts can be.

I urge recipients to HODL these NFTs or packs you get from me but its up to you the lucky reader receiving them.

Cheap power players

In this section I will highlight a few cheap cards with abilities that truly outweigh their minute costs.

MERDHAMPIR A Mermaid Vampire is one of the current common Splinterlands rewards cards. Selling on average for $0.01 USD each MERDHAMPIR has 2 great abilities when leveled up.

Life Leach 👆

Life Leach returns health when you successfully attack an enemy unit & deal damage.

Cripple 👆

When Cripple is effective it reduces the enemies unit Max Health by 1.

Since you only need 4 mana to summon MERDHAMPIR, using this card on mana restricted matches can be very effective for very little costs on your part.

Understanding why cards are useful helps both players & investors.

Market madness

NFTs like those found in Splinterlands are unique with Crypto let alone traditional assets.

You see thanks to the WAX NFT portal Splinterlands NFT assets can be bought or sold with Credits (Stable USD value), DEC, HIVE, & WAX.

With the exception of Credits the rest of these crypto assets are a fluctuating value themselves.

Given the markets nature it can be more beneficial to sell at a loss if that assets price your trading into is down.

Since the markets complexity seems daunting many ignore this secondary market volatility.

One persons oversight is another's profit be aware of the markets volatile nature embrace it, revel in it.

On the HIVE blockchain a liquidity pool is known as a diesel pool aforementioned Diesel pools Can have rewards attached to them.

Before using any liquidity pool I suggest doing research if unfamiliar with liquidity pool risks.
