It is a pleasure to bring content about this great game "play2earn" called "Splinterlands", where we are able to generate income doing what we love the most which is playing video games. As every week I want to thank the entire @splinterlands team and especially @carrieallen, which has supported me since I started in this game, also highlight the incredible opportunity that all players have to highlight and learn about combat strategies thanks to these weekly challenges, which is great, because, without them, we really would not see that great utility that the cards have.

This time, the challenge is about using a "Life" Splinter card, called "Feral Spirit", a great card that is from the oldest editions of the game, which makes it very special and at the same time, that this is an underestimated card in lower levels, however, this is a card that I use regularly and it really is deadly and very useful in many of the rules of the game, so I am delighted to be able to play with this amazing card and show you my strategy with it.

Now, having said that, I will start describing how was my battle using this great skill. Join me...

As usual, I will highlight the most important aspects that this card has, I already mentioned that it is a card of the oldest editions of the game, I mean "Alpha and Beta", it is a card of the "Common" type, but it can not be underestimated, because, at certain levels, it manages to be very useful and quite strong, which can cause significant damage to the alignment that our enemy has and more if it does not cover its backline of sneak attacks which is the specialty of this great card. For low levels it can be a little more vulnerable, however, it does not mean that it can not be usable, but I used it at level 7 where its powers are already very noticeable, so its speed and power can create serious problems for any enemy.

On the other hand and talking about her main stats, she is really one of the cards with more speed of the sneaky type that I know in the "Splinter of Life" and if you want in the game, from her level 1, she already has 4 points of speed really good, but with a few 2 points of life which makes her very vulnerable and sensitive to any type of attack that they propinate her, however, at a level 7, things change completely, this is because her speed rises to an incredible 6 points, having a destructive power of 3 points, plus 4 points of life very good. If you ask me the best levels of this card are precisely the number 7 onwards, as it becomes even faster, stronger, and with good resistance.

This is undoubtedly a very good card capable of surprising any enemy that does not cover its rear correctly, it can be adaptable to any rule and is very easy to position due to its low mana cost of 3 points.

This was a really good battle and where I can evidence one of the best strategies I usually use to counter a very strong magic attack power from the middle ranks of my opponent. Clearly looking at our formations they would say that he has 2 very useful and strong legendary cards that make them very fast and destructive power, however, looking at my opponent's last battles, he had mostly used the power of his "Splinter of Water" accompanied by a great and powerful "Ruler of de Sea" level 3, with great abilities and an equally strong "Spirit Miner" at the same level as the Ruler, cards that combined can cause serious damage adding up to 7 attack points and a little more thanks to the "Blast" ability that the Ruler possesses.

Even so, and as I knew that she would use all her magic power to defeat me, I decided to use a very big stealth power adding practically 6 attack points, on the other hand, to complement the stealth attack, I used a card with the "Opportunist" ability which combines really well with my ideals and my combat strategy, adding 2 more attack points making a total of 8 deadly points. In addition to this, two very good cards would help me protect myself from my opponent's magic attack. In short, a battle that is worthy of appreciation and that, without looking for it, I was able to demonstrate the great utility and power of the "Feral Spirit".

Rule of my Battle

Healed Out with 19 Mana.

  • Mana: 19
  • Healed Out: All healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners.

Tyrus Paladium

An old summoner, but with a very good ability able to give my team +1 point in "Shield", which makes him a born protector for this "Splinter". In my strategy there is nothing hidden in using this summoner, I simply chose him because he is one of the strongest I have in my life team, so, with a great opponent, with really strong magic attack cards, I decided to also counterattack with strength and using a Splinter that is commonly a bit vulnerable to magic attack.

Silvershield Paladin

My strategy of course started with this card, which is one of the tanks that I often use in my life team and that came in handy to be able to properly face my opponent's powerful "Ruler of the Sea" in conjunction with his "Spirit Miner". The reason is because of his very good 8 life points able to at least withstand a couple of rounds on the battlefield, but with a crucial ability that would allow me to weaken his strongest cards and make it even easier for my sneak attack team, this ability is none other than "Magic Reflect", which gives me the opportunity to return that magic attack to the enemy monsters.

gif sp.gif

Pelacor Conjurer

That I placed a card with the power to reflect magic attacks as my "Paladin", obviously would not be enough to stop the fast and deadly attack of my opponent's cards, so I had to place in the second position what I call a "Backup Tank", a kind of support capable of holding also a couple of rounds, however, my "Pelacor Conjurer" for this battle is not just any support, as it also has the great ability "Magic Reflect", which would allow me to weaken his strongest cards and make the battle even faster thanks to my sneak attack.

gif sp.gif

Feral Spirit

This is the card of the challenge, but if you notice from this point, is that the real offensive of my strategy begins, because, with a scenario set to withstand the magical attack of my opponent, my "Feral Spirit", represents the most important card in the offensive, this due to its very good 3 points of attack "Melee" and its ability to "Sneak" to go defeating one by one the cards of my opponent from the rear where he has absolutely no defense.

gif sp.gif

Stitch Leech

This is a new card from the "Chaos Legion" edition, a really powerful and useful card in battle, it is very easy to summon it to the field because the mana cost to do it is only 3 points, in that sense, and to accompany my powerful "Feral Spirit" I decided to summon this great card, which has the same ability as my "Feral" and with a very good 3 points of attack. In addition, this card has a very good additional ability called "Life Leech" which, lives up to its name, allowing it to gain more life points every time it causes damage to my opponent. Definitely a great addition to my attack and strategy.

gif sp.gif

Celestial Harpy

Another very good card from the "Chaos Legion" edition that helped me a lot in the battle and that complemented my sneak attack to defeat my opponent. The summoning cost of this card is very low, being only 2 points, so it was really good to have it in my team and also level it up. In addition to this, it has 2 very good attack points, which caused it to have a combined attack of the "Melee" type of a great 8 points, highlighting that its "Opportunist" ability, complements the "Poacher" very well, attacking the weakest link of my opponent's formation, focusing on those monsters that have very few life points and also can not miss thanks to its ability called "True Strike".

gif sp.gif

Creeping Ooze

This was really a filler card in my strategy, due to the fact that I was sure that my opponent would not surprise me with a sneak attack changing every possible positive result I could have using this fast and deadly attack strategy. Even so, his "Slow" ability worked very well for me, to decrease a little the great speed acquired by the most dangerous cards of my opponent which gave me more opportunity to hit the most important blows that determined the course of the battle. At this point, nothing could fail and really, my opponent had no chance in the development of the battle.

My strategy worked perfectly, it had no blind spots and I was able to completely neutralize two very powerful and useful cards that combined are very difficult to defeat. The best thing is that the challenge card, my "Feral Spirit" was able to shine in the best possible way, being able to defeat one of the strongest legendary cards of the "Water Splinter" such as the "Ruler of the Sea". I had already tried this strategy before, so as soon as I saw the last formations of my opponent I knew how to act immediately, which gave me the undisputed victory.

As I already mentioned this is a card that I use very regularly in my strategies, really at the level I own it, it becomes a regular card for my team, allowing me to surprise on a large number of occasions my opponents, since most players are used to use magic or continuous range attack, leaving aside the melee attack, which with a very good strategy can be really crushing for the other types of attack. I will certainly continue to use my "Feral Spirit" in battle and I highly recommend leveling this card up, of course, you know first hand how useful it is and how you can use it to win against really strong cards.

Healed Out con 19 Mana.

  • Mana: 19
