This weekend was a wild one, with all sorts of costumes seen in every corner of the city. Especially at night, you could see vampires, Wednesday Addams, ghostly nuns, and even Barbie and Ken from the movies. Of course, there were also all kinds of original characters wandering the streets. In the Tianmu area of Taipei, there was a long-standing Halloween parade for families that attracted a large crowd of people and families to dress up and act silly on the street. At the scene, you could see children running around in costumes, giving an eerie feel to their usual cuteness. Of course, there were many beautifully dressed little princesses. The mayor and some government officials also didn’t forget this moment to promote themselves, showing up in costumes and showing that they understand the people. Of course, we all know that they are just putting on a show, beautifying themselves with beautiful publicity words.

Actually, the happiest people at events like Halloween are the students. Although dressing up can be expensive and time-consuming, it gives them a legitimate reason to express themselves and an opportunity to deepen their relationships with the opposite sex they like. This makes me want to talk about some of my friends’ experiences picking up dates at Halloween, but it might take too long, so I won’t.

Several games I play on Hive also have Halloween events, offering limited-time discounts or limited game assets. So, Halloween also gives game developers a chance to promote themselves. If a game doesn’t have new players coming in and old players keep leaving, the game is not far from death. The game economy is always the direction that each game is striving for, but there hasn’t been a perfect solution yet. People once thought Axie Infinity was a hope, but it seems to have hit a bottleneck. Things in the world are not always so beautiful.
