It's not the end of the year yet, but there have been many gatherings recently. Meeting up with friends brings joy. When you gather with close friends, you can catch up and have a good time, and with friends you're not so familiar with, you can get to know each other better and prepare for the next get-together. I've found that for dining gatherings, you need at least two hours. The first hour is all about enjoying delicious food, and time always flies by. It's only after we've eaten and had our fill that we have time to chat. If it's a social or business dinner, people tend to say a few words after eating, and then everyone starts making excuses to leave. But when it comes to gatherings with friends, chatting and bantering can easily take up an hour. One small insight: the real gathering comes after the meal, as there's always another one on the horizon.

Some people are great at conversation. They can introduce interesting topics and steer the discussion in a way that gets everyone engaged. Conversation is a two-way street, and when someone serves a conversational ball, there should be someone to hit it back. The worst is when you encounter someone who only responds with "yes" or "no" to open-ended questions; they can kill a topic so effortlessly. For example, you might ask them, "Where did you go last weekend?" and they reply, "I went out, but it's private, so I can't answer." It leaves you with no choice but to find another topic. That's why being good at conversation can be a valuable skill.

Although I did receive an SP1 card, I couldn't view its appearance on the website, possibly due to technical issues. I hope we could see it soon.
