One aspect of Rebellion that I want to focus more attention on today is the incredible skill of the designers and the restyling of the cards, evolving in quality and perfection over time. In addition to playability, an essential element for achieving success, I am a lover of drawings: a successful game means little to me if I don't like the characters aesthetically.

A card game, even more so, must also impress users with the aesthetic quality of the designs, colors, details and styling. The team has shown particular attention over these years, each edition has demonstrated a leap in quality from this point of view and I am more and more impressed by the latest edition "Rebellion*.

While waiting for the release of the new cards, we should have some previews by the end of the month, the new style of the Rebellion set is clearly visible from the promo cards available for purchase during the pre-sale:

For every 10 Rebellion booster packs purchased during the presale, including bonus packs available with bulk purchases, players will receive one Grimbardun Smith Neutral Rare card! Each Grimbardun Smith card received will have a 4% chance of being a Gold Foil version of the card, and players will be guaranteed to receive at least one Gold Foil version of the card for every 250 Rebellion booster packs purchased during the presale.

On top of that, every single Rebellion booster pack purchased during the presale will have a 1% chance of receiving a Mantaroth Neutral Legendary card! Players will be guaranteed to receive at least one Mantaroth card for each 100 Rebellion booster packs purchased and at least one Gold Foil Mantaroth card for each 2,500 Rebellion booster packs purchased during the presale. Each Mantaroth card will also have a 4% chance of being a Gold Foil version of the card.

The frame of the new set is very different from the previous Chaos Legion version, now the character takes up more space, the frame, elegant and refined, is reduced everywhere, in particular in the lower part, offering greater details. The name, the upgrade bar and the skill icons remain in the same position, clearly visible on the slightly shaded background of the character. The bar indicating the status and level of the upgrade changes dramatically: the long light bar is replaced by small rectangles, each indicating the character's level, which colors every time an upgrade is made until the next level is reached.

I like this new layout, more modern and clear, more captivating. Even the quality of the drawings is more accurate and detailed, a praise also for the inventiveness, it is not easy to produce a considerable quantity of material, including official editions, mini sets and special cards. A remarkable sight that deserves to be highlighted.

Oltre alla giocabilità, elemento essenziale per raggiungere il successo, io sono un amante dei disegni: un gioco di successo per me conta poco se non mi piacciono esteticamente i personaggi.

Il team ha dimostrato particolare attenzione nel corso di questi anni, ogni edizione ha dimostrato un salto di qualità da questo punto di vista e sono sempre più impressionato dall'ultima edizione "Rebellion*.

La cornice del nuovo set è molto differente già dalla precedente versione Chaos Legion, ora il personaggio occupa maggiore spazio, la cornice, elegante e raffinata, si riduce un pò ovunque, in particolare nella parte inferiore, offrendo maggiore dettagli. Restano nella medesima posizione il nome, la barra di potenziamento e le icone delle abilità, ben visibili sullo sfondo un pò ombrato del personaggio. Cambia in modo vistoso la barra che indica lo stato ed il livello di potenziamento: la lunga barra luminosa è sostituita da piccoli rettangoli, ognuno indicante il livello del personaggio, che si colora ogni qualvolta si effettua un potenziamento fino a raggiungere il livello successivo.

Mi piace questo nuovo layout, più moderno e chiaro, più accattivante. Anche la qualità dei disegni è più curata e dettagliata, un plauso anche all'inventiva, non è semplice produrre una notevole quantità di materiale, tra edizione ufficiali, mini set e carte speciali. Un colpo d'occhio notevole che merita di essere sottolineato.
