This week's theme is the Close Range rulset, here every card with a ranged attack will also be able to attack from the first position, so there is no danger of sacrificing monsters without any results.

There are no particular suggestions that I can provide, or rather there are no suggestions that are different from other battles. In my battle I preferred to field a no attack card in first position for some simple reason: first of all I am always a big fan of no attack cards, so underrated but in my opinion they are very prolific. In first position I deployed PELACOR CONJURER, a common card of the Life element, which also has two very useful abilities: Flying, the card has a 25% chance to dodge melee and ranged attacks from non-winged monsters, Magic Reflect, half of the magical attack suffered will be sent back to the opposing monster.

The strategy of deploying a no attack card is also supported in this case by a card with healing power, this allows PELACOR CONJURER to regain health points at each turn. For this reason it was basically the VENARI CRYSTALSMITH card, in addition to the healing power it also has an attack of 3 points, a balanced and fast monster, impressive cost/value ratio, I advise you to evaluate the purchase if it is not yet in your deck

The battle was undoubtedly tough, difficult but my strategy, compared to that of my opponent, was more productive and convincing. The victory was deserved, the choice to deploy cards with ranged attacks proved productive because all the cards attacked every turn, unlike my opponent who deployed many cards with melee attacks, which remained harmless for a few turns.

Ciao amici di Splinterlands, eccoci al consueto appuntamento con Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!, un evento oramai che raccoglie la grande partecipazione della comunità di giocatori e che offre sempre molti spunti di riflessione. Il tema di questa settimana è il rulset Close Range, qui ogni carta con attacco ranged potrà attaccare anche dalla prima posizione, per cui non c'è pericolo di sacrificare mostri senza alcun risultato.

Non ci sono particolari suggerimenti che io possa fornire, o meglio non ci sono suggerimenti differenti da altre battaglie. Nella mia battaglia ho preferito schierare in prima posizione una carta no attack per qualche semplice motivo: in primis sono sempre un grande fan delle carte no attack, così tanto sottovalutate ma a mio giudizio sono molto prolifiche. In prima posizione ho schierato PELACOR CONJURER, carta comune dell'elemento Life, che ha anche due abilità molto utili: Flying, la carta ha una chance del 25% per schivare attacchi melee e ranged dei mostri non alati, Magic Reflect, metà dell'attacco magico subìto sarà rimandato al mostro avversario.

La strategia di schierare un no attack card è supportato in questo caso anche da una carta cin potere curativo, ciò consente a PELACOR CONJURER di riacquistare punti salute ad ogni turno. Per questo motivo è stata fondamentalmente la carta VENARI CRYSTALSMITH, oltre al potere curativo ha anche un attacco di ben 3 punti, un mostro equilibrato e veloce, impressionante io rapporto costo/valore, ti consiglio di valutare l'acquisto qualora non sia ancora nel tuo mazzo

La battaglia è stata senza dubbio dura, difficile ma la mia strategia, rispetto a quella avversaria, è stata più producente e convincente. La vittoria è stata meritata, la scelta di schierare carte con attacco ranged si è dimostrata produttiva perché tutte le carte hanno attaccato ad ogni turno, differentemente dal mio avversario che ha schierato molte carte con attacco melee, le quali sono rimaste inoffensive per qualche turno.
