SPS burning finally starts to move
The spark is lit, now we wait for the fuse to slowly burn to the big boooooom!
We have often talked about $SPS and its main utility associated with the burn mechanism for the generation of $DEC, an objective on which the team focused primarily by reducing the issuance of the stablecoin from the pools, and subsequently generating and burning large requests for $DEC to reduce the generous offer and encourage SPS-DEC conversion.

The Rebellion sale, in its pre-sale phase, ended a few hours ago and almost all of the 500k parcels have been sold. This required large amounts of DECs which will be blocked for some time in SPS DAO, therefore no longer available on the market and this will drastically decrease liquidity. How to get more $DEC? Simply, converting SPS is the easiest and cheapest way for a stakeholder!
In this last week the SPS burn process has finally begun, the quantities of converted tokens are still modest but the path is the right one and I expect in the coming months that the number of converted SPS will increase exponentially, encouraged by the launch of Land and the public sale of Rebellion packs, as well as other interesting initiatives that the team will make available to players.
What will happen when the number of SPS burned daily exceeds those emitted? Furthermore, the number of tokens is not infinite, the maximum supply is 3 billion, to date over a billion have been minted. What will happen to SPS in 3/4 years if the team manages to maintain or increase the demand for DEC in the game? What will happen to the value of SPS when SPS tokens are minted and demand for DEC increases, and more users join the game? This is all really exciting

When will that happen? First Splinterlands need to be a good, enjoyable game again. Like it was in/around 2019. Nowadays it is frustratingly too hard to play, and it is rather a pay-to-win game than a pay-to-earn game, and many people (including me too) stopped playing it because of it. I check it from time to time to see if Splinterlands is becoming good again, but currently I do not see this. Of course good luck and have fun to those, who still play it.

It was a good time to start burning it because now we see that the market is also starting to pick up so all the projects like that are now giving updates like their land gameplay and so on. We will see their prices go up.
