SPS Governance Proposal - Increase SPS:DEC LP Incentives

DAO Sponsored Proposal #8

This proposal is part of an ongoing effort to rework and adjust our LP incentives to ensure that we're creating value for the SPS DAO and our token. There are pools that some feel are being significantly overpaid for the value that they provide to our community. If a proposal does not pass, nothing will change until if/when a new proposal is made and passed. Please provide feedback during the preproposal phase as it relates to this particular pool's proposal.

If this proposal passes, the SPS DAO will increase the inflation being paid to the SPS:DEC liquidity pool on Hive Engine to 1,000,000 SPS per month from the current 702,452 SPS per month. The reason for this increase is that the pool has exposure to both SPS and DEC and this change will bring the incentives in line with our other major pools while potentially attracting displaced liquidity from other LP adjustments.

This is the only one of these pools I use and see it as helping support the game economy as well as the sps rewards.

Voted no, of course.
We are reducing incentives on all chains and LPs but suddenly want to raise incentives for our own value-extracting, sps-dumping, "Not a CEX please" whales?
Ha! No.

You'll be happy to know there's more "cut" proposals coming shortly 😁

I will vote to add some liquidity after we've successfully shown we can cut enough. I don't mind your process Clay, I think that's the only way to find a consensus. And I don't even mind voting for this if I see a lot more reduction across the board.

But for now I will vote against it til we get more agreement on cuts.

Good job overall, and I appreciate you focusing on building the DAO's longevity.

I'm not too bothered on this one either way, it was a suggestion from cryptoeater to cut elsewhere while shoring up the pool with double exposure. I still think we need a roughly 50% cut overall, but we're going to have to do this on a per pool basis it seems.

I like this one, I always wondered why the SPS:DEC LP received less rewards than all other pools. This is the most important one. And with SPS vs. a stable, people need incentive to provide liquidity as SPS holdings in the pool will only decrease over time if you participate.
