Testing the water in Gold League? I would have done the same I think.
I got money in the liquidity pool too but I'm also staking.
With the collection power, I have at the moment, forcing my account to gold league is not a good idea. Yes DEC rewards might be higher but the time and effort I need to put in in order for me to get the RoI is not good for me. Plus the chance of maximizing the SPS airdrop points is lessening from rentals.
