This is another card that is very situational as you usually want to play magic monsters combined with a +1 Magic Damage boost from a Summoner. This said, in matches where only magic is allowed or where monsters lose all their abilities, this card can be useful for the Death Splinter since that has Splinters which nerf Magic damage giving all monsters reflect or all monsters of the opponent -1 Magic damage. Having a minster with 3 magic attack and some health is useful in that situation.

I personally only own this card at level 3 as there it gets 3 magic damage for the rare situation when Water or Earth is not allowed on game rules that require good magic damage monsters.

The game rules for this match didn't allow armor while making life hard on Melee and Ranged damage. So playing Magic or anti-magic was the way to go. The best summoner I had available for that was my Arlic Stormbringer Summoner with the really powerful Djinn Oshannus as my main tank. I opted for the Mermaid Healer in 2nd place for some extra health and heal. The Ruler Of The Seas is pretty inevitable in every Water Deck and I kind of made a mistake with the Venari Wavesmith since game rules didn't allow Armor. I should have played the Lord Ariantus in 2nd or 1st place instead or my Spirit Miner in 2nd place, or my Baakjira . At the back I provided my tank with some heal placing my Tortisian Chief and to finish things off my Albatross.

It was a close battle and according to splintertools.io I had around 46% to win. My opponent did use the Magi Necrosi however which for sure helped getting the win. Regardless it was another fun and challenging battle and Splinterlands as a game right now is more enjoyable than ever. I remember the times way back when pretty much every battle was an auto win or loss just based on the 'pay2win' factor. Since cards and rentals are affordable now combined with better ways to
