My daily Splinterlands battle journal!!! Episode 006 Year 2023

My battles today were slightly better than yesterday, but not for much! Curiously, I thought the focus would help me to win, but it didn't work that way this time.

However, my rewards were pretty nice today! I had in my yesterday's 10 reward chests 0.174 SPS, 28 merits, two potions of each kind, a Merdhampir, a rare Twilight Basilisk, and an epic Tide Biter! Wow, I love to get cards!!! Those are awesome! My focus today was Stealth, but even though I could choose a good card variety for this focus, I didn't use them as often as I would have wanted. I won 16 of 28 battles for a 57.1% win rate. One more won battle compared to yesterday's winnings. For those battles I got 4.398 SPS and I also hit 1,974 rating points in Wild format. Not bad!

For tomorrow, I will have 11 reward chests and I also had today five additional chests for my next End of Season (EOS), 49 in total!!! With eight days left, there's a good chance to get more than 75 this season! Awesome! Let's wait and see!!!

I try everyday to get an interesting battle and show you guys what encounters I had. I wish I could have more time to add more battles, but my hands are full! Today, for example, I had battled against the Llama-Kron combo three times, and I lost one of them. However, I wanted to share this one because I felt it out of place. This was a battle with 28 mana, and from all Splinters, you couldn't only use the Fire and Life Splinter. The ruleset was "Target Practice", and my opponent chose to use a Kron in the back and Coeurl Lurker. Those three cards sum 28 mana, indeed. However, I also used 28 mana, but in this case, I used all the card spots. I knew he was going to use the Llama-Kron combo due to his battle history, but I didn't understand why he chose that particular card set. I mean, even if you have the most powerful overpowered combo in game, you should never depend only in those two cards. Remember guys, against Llama-Kron always use more than one sneak card as a counter!

It was a fun day to battle, but I didn't feel concentrated enough to win more times. I felt somewhat off, and for that reason, I think my performance suffered unnecessarily. The daily focus was optimal, but I couldn't stuff any card when I wanted, like two days ago. Let's hope tomorrow I feel a much better disposition for battling!
