RE: "BOT and SPLINTERLANDS"
You are viewing a single comment's thread:
I agree, bots are not really a bad thing, but there is one thing that you did not really touch on, and that is daily and end of season rewards. Now I get it, you invest your time and money into making a bot and they dont get far w/o having great cards, but they do get somewhere. The cards get distributed to bots instead of actual people playing the game, like I said, people put time and money (mainly money) into making a bot, so they should benefit, but not at the cost of hurting the player base.
For instance, the new card drops... if there are a million bots running all the time getting the cards, the reward cards wont last very long. I think a solution will need to be met at some point concerning this down the line, however we are not there yet.
Also the DEC drain is a concern. The more people (bots) playing, the less DEC rewards there is for the player base community. Not much of a concern, but still is one. Compare the average drop rate before the influx of bots and you will notice a distinct difference.
I'm not saying bots are bad, but like aggroed has stated, we need to make sure that they dont have any advantage over the general player base of the game and these are my real only main concerns.
Thanks for the post! I may write one up on bots at some point myself :)
And bots !LUV !PIZZA let me tell ya.
Cheers

surely bot cant grind more than actual players do because it will affect on its ECR.let see if bot can take advantage on rewards.
Lets say i have 1000 usd and invest it on splinterlands.
i invested it on buying legendary cards gold foil and other stuff that will surely bring me to champion league.
What will i get?
Daily quest chest
(20 chest)
End season rewards
(150 loot chest)
Dec drop per Rank game
200-300 dec*30 game/day
(6000 - 9000 dec/day)
Thats more than what you can get on owning 10 bot sitting on bronze league.
Daily quest chest
1chest/account *10 accounts
End season rewards.
Bronze 3 = 5 chest 10
Bronze 1 = 9 chest10
(50-90 loot chest)
Dec drop per rank game
0.1 - 7 dec *30 game per day *10accounts
(2000 dec/day)
Thanks for your reply. i appreicate your time answering on my post. Will surely wait for your post about this topic.
Well with 1000 USD i could buy 14x Accounts and 14x Mylor Crowling. Than i would be around 940$.
From the remaining $60 I could then buy cheap cards that support Mylor or are generally good. That would be another $4 worth of cards per account, which, especially with the new reward cards, would provide a well-balanced beginner deck.
A Mylor bot can easily achieve a rating of 1200+, which is 1. almost continuously about 5 DEC per battle won and 2. once you can afford the rent per account, twice as many lootchests in the Silver League. I've also seen Mylorbots with 1700+ rating, especially at the end of Seasons, but let's stick with 1200 rating.
Factor that into the equation:
Daily quest chest
2chest/account *14 accounts
End season rewards.
Silver 3 = 12 chests
12 * 14
2 chests per day * 14 accounts * 14 days
Around 560 loot chests per season
Dec drop per rank game
5 DEC *30 game per day *14accounts
(2100 dec/day)
Also if i would only stick with new accounts (and no mylor) i would come to the following numbers:
100 Bot accounts for 1000$
Average bot at around 600 Rating.
About 1 DEC per Win.
Daily quest chest
1chest/account *100 accounts
End season rewards.
Bronze 2 = 7 chests
12 * 7
1 chests per day * 100 accounts * 14 days
Around 1484 loot chests per season
Dec drop per rank game
5 DEC *30 game per day *14accounts
(3000 dec/day)
Bots are op.
No brainer conversation. How about bot fee?
Which fee? There are bunch of completely free bots that are working pretty fine for bronze and silver. No fee at all.
Just free rewards.
Send the link here so many can use bot. Spending 1000 usd on accou t and you will use free bot? Seriously?
You can simply find working bots from github. I don't wanna share a link because I don't want to take the responsibility for it, if there should be something wrong with the bot in the future.
Just search for Splinterlands Bot on Google, choose one of the two Github posts, join the Discord, read in a bit (I might publish a tutorial for setting up the bot correctly, because it's not that easy).
