Gold Foil Summoners are Going Down, Down, Down, Down, Down

Gold Foil Summoners are getting hit hard and the downward momentum may continue.

None of this article is financial/investment/legal advice, it contains a strategic valuation analysis of speculative assets that can be subject to market fluctuations. You are suggested to seek out a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) for all investments and the author is not an RIA. Splinterlands' Terms of Service identifies Splinterlands/Steem Monsters as not being an Investment Company. As defined by the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, Steem Monsters (the parent company of Splinterlands) and the Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) that was published by Steem Monsters can be argued to rise to the definition of being classified as Financial Institutions in the United States. This is a duty to warn and inform given that the actions to be described regard the valuation of assets and speculation of events to take place.

Baby, are you down, down, down, down, down?
Down, down
Even if the sky is falling down
Down, down

Well, it could certainly seem like this lyric from Jay Sean featuring Lil Wayne - Down in the market, now does it? After all, the question being asked is simply, "Are you down for something in a situation where the sky is falling down?" And quite frankly, the Splinterlands ecosystem can certainly seem this way and so can the state of domestic affairs in the United States, a war in Eastern Europe, bipartisan anti-crypto sentiment in the United States, and a likely recession to come in September 2023. In this case, specifically are you down to buy some Gold Foil summoners in a chaotic and bearish environment? Even when they are clearly plummeting? Maybe you want to flip these cards, who knows?

So are you down, down, down, down, down?

General Sloan

The first Gold Foil Summoner to hit the Dollar Menu would be General Sloan, if it ever happens. This is a card that receives no love and this makes it a candidate to continue the downswing in the market downswing.

Right now, it is at $4.429 and the present floor is $4 (best bid price is $2.60). General Sloan has been held up each time the price goes below $5, but now it is getting such help.

Tarsa

The market does not want Tarsa to fall far from $6 on a per card basis, but on a BCX basis, it is at All-Time Lows at $5.529. Tarsa has a bid price of $5.609 to serve as a floor. There's a bit more support to reaching $5 than General Sloan would to reaching $4.

Thaddius Brood

All-Time Lows on a per card and BCX basis for this Rare Death Summoner. The next level to test is $6 and that will be a level of support that if broken would be a sign of desperation for this card to clear because the price is falling into the Bid pricing zone.

Obsidian

All-Time Lows are the story with Obsidian. What is noticeable though is that $7 is not as hard of a support price as one would think. The high bid is at $6.72, which puts the pricing into a place where Obsidian could face less support when it gets to $7.

Talking about this card falling to $6 is premature on both a BCX and per card basis.

Dallan

This is the card to watch from Riftwatchers. It could have the distinction of being the first summoner from Riftwatchers to fall below $10. Dallan is not the most loved summoner, it is however, quite intriguing in Bronze play. This is a card with a high bid at $10 and prices have been marching downward. Last week, Dallan was $13.229 and the negative momentum could continue.
