Splinterlands Art Contest // Week 166 //ANGEL OF LIGHT

For this weeks contest I am doing my first female splinterlands character. Originally it was suppose to be Medusa, but after completing it, I absolutly hated how it looked. I usually choose three splinterlands characters to do, then choose one of the three, so the Angel was my second choice.

I used this image as a reference, and as soon as I uploaded it I realized that the wings on my render should have been more of a darker yellow, so I had to re render the entire project lol.

I use a program called Poser12, The program comes packed with many already made figures and to do this paticlular project I used a figure called Aiko3 from my poser library.

Aiko3 has many facial and body morphs, so you can pretty much make her into whatever you want. So I tweeked the earns and then gave her more of a anime style look to more closly match the Splinterlands version.

The next job was to try and match the outfit, which is always the most difficult part for me, but luckily I found a really cool free outfit online that worked pretty well.

The image looked pretty good by itself, but I thought it could use a little something something extra so I had these really cool glowing lights around her. I also altered her pose and added some glowing balls, not sure why I did that, I just thought it looked cool.

After that, it was just a simple process of coloring the wings and animating her.
