Splinterlands Art Contest // Week 262//BABY UNICORN

For this weeks contest I decided to give the baby unicorn a try.

I used this picture as my reference. And as usual I used poser12 to create this project.

I started out with a simple 3d model of a pony.

Then I added a texture map to the pony, I edited it and recolored it so that it would more closely match the reference image.

I used a simple cone primitive for the horn and colored it.

I used a cylinder primitive, resized it, and added a texture to it to make the rotating stand.

Then I added an electric particle effect to simulate the energy on the horn. This is my first time doing the baby unicorn, my goal was to finish it in time for this weeks contest, so there was no horsing around lol
