My First Splinterlands Season Report Card! - Splinter Stats Season 66 Report Card

This is day 14 in my @Splinterlands journey!

...And this will be my first attempt at breaking down my season stats using the @Splinterstats tool :)

I'm still learning the basics of proper markdown syntax, so this will be a good test of my formatting abilities. I'll probably have to go back and do some edits using PeakD.

As a beginning Splinterlands player, I'm very happy to see my performance results. There is a decent win/loss ratio and I was able to make it into the Bronze 2 level and start earning some DEC with each win. I was a bit surprised that I had actually won 8 matches in a row at some point!

It appears that I only completed one tournament... although I'm certain there were a couple more. Perhaps it only shows one's in which you've received a reward? (Maybe someone reading can shed a few more details on this for me.)

Tournaments are one area that I need to put more focus into!

Six reward cards over about 11 total days for me seems pretty decent at this beginners level. No gold foil or legendary cards yet. However, it was nice to receive a couple of Epic Djinn Renova's over the course of the season! Look like I really need to move of the ranks to earn a better DEC return in ranked wins.

I've been renting a few core cards from @peak-monsters for my type of play. Furious Chicken, Creeping Ooze, and summoner Mylor Crowling have been important for me. Otherwise, I've been experimenting with rentals on a day to day basis that may help me complete the daily quests.

I've purchased a small number of SPS tokens on a couple of occasions and have been staking back all of the small claims that have been available. This will be a much more long term investment for me as I continue playing. Small steps forward :)

Overall, I've extremely happy to have come on board as a Splinterlands player and Hivean! It's been a lot of fun getting to know the game and the Hive ecosystem as a whole. Right now, I'll continue to purchase and open at least one new Chaos Legion pack every day while completing all the daily quests...

I look forward to seeing what this report will look like a year from now!
