Splinterlands Comes To Apple TV+ On March 11th - Splinter Stats Season 40 Report
I don't know if this is going to pump SPS. I don't wanna worry about short term stuff. That's too much to think about. I like to have more peace of mind. There's peace in seeing that we're getting recognition. I'm pretty sure Uncle Aggy got a swim. Too bad there's no investment happening like Shark Tank. But it could be for best. That way dev & DAO will have bigger stake.
Check this out. I appear on episode 3 of Killer Whales, which is like a crypto shark tank.
Looks like it'll be appearing on AppleTV, which has something like 500M viewers. So, that's a big deal.
Hopefully that spells out some good things for Splinterlands, invennium, genesis league, arcade colony, and moonkarts. Should bring some eyeballs to Hive.

Did Some Digging!
There's no way we're going to see 500M eyeballs on Splinterlands with just 1 TV show. So I checked for best performers in Apple TV+. Found some old news form May - 2023.
We'd be lucky to get 500K viewers. That's still a good number! Imagine 1% of them spend $10 in Splinterlands. That's $50,000. If another 0.1% spent $100 - that's another $50,000. Theses wins matter. They also add up over time. We didn't have mainstream presence so far. Now we have our foot through the door!
This is s a time to celebrate. If you have a Apple TV+ watch episode 3. It can help push from algorithm. As long as we can get active users to Hive so many Dapps are going to benefit. Even if you don't play Splinterlands or any of the others games that's coming out from team...... you can still profit when more brad awareness happen for Splinterlands!

It was a struggle to reach Diamond III. I really don't want to spend too long in Gold. Diamond has better changes for Gold & Legendary. But I have to improve my deck for that. Then I think about land and how to invest enough for it. These are the times I wish I had more diversification.
I could try to go a little bit more and get 1 more season chest this season. But it'll such if I fall back to Gold. So I'm gonna play it safe. Missing out on something not in your hand is fine when you risk even a bigger thing get lost. At least for season rewards I think that's a better way :)

3 Legendary Gold is a really really cool thing to happen. I only got 2 regulars of same rarity. So I'm really happy and grateful for Splinterlands. Not every season is going to be like this. I'm not gonna feel bad if next season don't end up being this good.

My hope is to see more players drive up prices for NFTs. Sales price and rent price are strongly linked. So if 1 does good - other should benefit. DEC is already stable. Supply went down because of land use. Hope this trend will continue.

Honestly feel like I've sold too much at too low prices. Good part is that I'm making SPS from land. Bad thing is I don't have enough grain. There's no grain market coming from users. Paying 1 DEC = 1 Grain is just too expensive!
At least cool thing about Vouchers is price has been stable even when supply keep growing. If there's more sinks - we'll have better prices for Vouchers soon!
There's some changes to tournaments. I didn't think too much about them. I don't play them a lot. I voted for what I think would be good. Regular tournament players have the most to gain from these. I should probably check out some tournaments. It's been so long since I last played them. Ranked feels better with more reliable rewards. Ranked has no fees to enter either 😀
