SPS DAO Proposal: Establish Visions of Verico Secondary Market DAO Pricing and Pack Burn Mechanic
Purpose
The purpose of this proposal is to establish a path for the SPS DAO to sell Visions of Verico (VoV) Packs once the live sale has concluded. With the end of the live sale the SPS DAO has 184,150 packs of VoV remaining and no vehicle to sell them. This proposal will establish a DAO Pack Reserve for future initiatives(ex. Chests/Bundles/Etc.), provide a secondary market opportunity for purchase of VoV cards, establishing a burn rate for packs to prevent dead stock in the DAO and provide value through scarcity.
Timing
Begin DAO Secondary Market sale of VoV packs on August 18th, 2026, in line with the start of VoV Alteration and Fortune Seeker Draws.
Establish Pack Reserve For Future DAO Initiatives
- Reserve 500 packs for DAO initiatives to be determined in the future
Examples of use:
- Seasonal/Limited Chests Rewards
- Event Rewards
- Content Creator Giveaway Pool - Set a deadline to distribute all DAO Initiative packs by Dec. 31st, 2027, at which point any remaining packs in DAO control will be burned.
- Reserve 5,000 packs for DAO "Gift Boxes" style sale (Credit Only)
- Provides VoV packs for sale similar to Winter Fest/Summer Fun events.
- Requires "Gift Box" VoV pack value be set to $4.00 (matching final VoV Pack Pool on Secondary market) - Set a deadline to burn all DAO "Gift Boxes" packs that remain unsold on Dec. 31st, 2027, matching DAO Initiative packs above.
Example "Gift Box"(but not limited to):
- 5x VoV Packs ($20)
- Common Land Plot ($10)
- 10k DEC ($10)
= $35 Credit Purchase ($40 Value)
Pricing Structure
- Establish Escalating VoV Pack Pricing on the Secondary Market.
- Divide the remaining 178,650 packs into 5 equal pools (35,730 each)
- List the first pool at $3.00 on the Secondary Market
- List the remaining 4 pools at $0.25 increments ($3.25, $3.50, $3.75, $4.00)
- List all pools on August 18th, 2026 in line with the VoV Alternation and Fortune Seeker Draws
Establish VoV Pack Burn Rate
- Set timeline for Secondary Market pools to be burned
- Pools are burned at the end of each month until the end of 2026 based on the table below
Conclusion
The Visions of Verico packs destined for the DAO at the end of sale need some manner of disposal so they don't sit in DAO assets forever. This proposal provides a secondary market for purchase as we move towards Land Buildings being released and attempts to prevent overlap with future land card development.

yes, its awesome to see he took the time to work through the issues and he even spent his own money on something he felt was important. Love the initiative indeed!
Why are we burning these packs? Why not put them in the reward chests?
Its a DAO decision, not a team decision. There seems to be enough players that want to see the packs distributed this way. Anyone can make a proposal, so this was one of them. While everyone has a preference on how things should be done, 2/3rds of the voting stake has to agree to it.
Now this proposal I can vote YES for.

so it looks like most of these unsold packs will end up getting burned. about 36830 will go into each monthly pool and I think about 25k-30k get burned. Still a good thing there are some packs to buy!

Love the idea of offering the packs but the $3 price point is a slap n the face for every non-whale player. We should sell these starting at $2 so everyone who did not have funds available when matt dropped the bomb has a fair shake, just like the whales who could buy all they needed short notice. Matt threw a wrench in the works, the little guys should not get the brunt of it.
These cards are worth having, that's why I maxed out my copy early. I still think that other people who didn't see the opportunity as early as I did should miss out. I fully support this and hope more people see the value in these cards. They look really cool too.
Why not put the packs in chests instead of burning them?
